I’ve only tested on a staging site so far. I’m impressed how easy it is to create back-end reports.

The best way to access databases. Very good support and prompt reply

WP Data Access is a tool which I looked for a long time. It satisfied all my expectations!

I was trying to move my “database” from spreadsheet to WordPress and learning to use this plugin and explore the possibility. The staff provide very good support to me when I get stuck on somewhere.

Absolutely brilliant but one thing I would say is, you need to have a good working knowledge of databases and SQL to leverage the features of this program. I still have some bits and pieces to learn but WPDA has quickly taken me to a place far beyond where other plugins have failed. Easy to use and very customisable.
Support for this product is superb. Quick and accurate responses. What more could you ask for?

Once you learn the process, it is easy to create a data application. I tried it for 2 weeks then bought the single license and will probably buy the life time licence. Finally, an easy tool for beginners to build and publish data applications to their websites.

Using this plugin quite a while now, robust, easy-to-use and with great customer support!!

I’ve been working with WP Data Access for several weeks now, and have to say that I am very impressed. It is complete, in that so far it has every feature I need to present users with a robust data access app to our custom database for the WordPress site. And the plugin and its design have been very well executed. I don’t know the main plugin author, Peter, but I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to hire him to work on any of my WordPress sites. The quality of the work here has been that good.
I dearly wish all WordPress plugins were developed with so much thought and care.
To top it all off, the support is outstanding. Kim is very active here, and obviously works closely with Peter to get people the quick answers they need, being patient even with my dumb questions.
As my project has progressed, I found that I needed the features of the premium version of the plugin and have signed up with a Lifetime license. But this is one plugin that even if I didn’t need those premium features, I’d pay anyway to support its development and give my support.
Well done, Passionate Programmers! And thank you!

Needing to rewrite URLs on our website, I found WP Data Access to be absolutely fantastic! In the past, I had to dump the database to a 400MB text file, edit it and re-import it. With fingers crossed. This plugin makes it immensely easier to do a search and replace on tables. Aside from the plugin being extremely well designed, I also had need to contact their tech support and I found them to be absolutely great. I should add that I found the issue I had was due to insufficient DB privileges, and not to any fault of the plugin itself. I couldn’t be happier with it.

Very powerful plugin, and the CS team is great!

With WP DATA ACCESS, you can sort a table as an alphabet search. The helpdesk was super responsive. Letter ‘A’ gives the entries with ‘A’, Letter ‘B’ gives the entries with ‘B’… We get the Pro version to get support en it has been a success.

This plugin, in theory is excellent – there weren’t many plugins I could find that could connect & retrieve records from my SQL DB sitting on my remote virtual server. This plugin did it perfectly.
The only issue i had was it took 30 seconds just to retrieve 1 record. However I do not know if the issue is with the plugin or my website. So i cannot blame this plugin without further info, however I didn’t have time to do more extensive troubleshooting.
In terms of customer service the team were amazing – they continued to troubleshoot the problem with me exhausting alot of options. They were patient and great service.
In the end they were happy to give me a refund.
Assuming your website doesnt pose any delays/issues, this plugin should work great for you.

I have to admit this product is a little hard to understand using the documentation and videos, but this is a great table handling product. Support has been wonderful.

I’m a small business owner, not a programmer. I know just enough to get most things done, but sometimes something like WP Data Access makes things easier. This plugin has been a big help and great to work with. It would be easier if I knew SQL, but if I have trouble, my experience with customer support so far has been great and dependable.

WP Data Access allows me to explore data base tables, understand the data structure, and write meaningful SQL queries. After trying several other plugins with no success, it was Data Access that gave me the start on SQL

I am new to SQL Database and had basic knowledge when I started off. Peter helped me so much to have it all setup and running. Without his support, I couldn’t have done it. Thank you

I have just renewed for the second time. This plugin is little known, it seems, but highly valuable. I use it for all sorts of use cases and renew again without hesitation.

Fantastic plugin, it allows you to turn your WordPress site into an app factory. Incomparable, there is no such thing in the WordPress universe. The Premium version is packed with great features and the price is absolutely affordable. Last but not least, the support is stellar !!
I recommend buying it.

This plugin has allowed me to fix the Coupon management has moved! notice in WooCommerce that has driven me (and from the forums, many others) nuts for nearly two weeks!! This superb plugin allowed me to access my WordPress database from WordPress backend and locate the entry “wp_wc_admin_notes”. Within there is “wc-admin-coupon-page-moved” (on last page for me) and I could change the setting “unactioned” to “actioned”. Click submit and the issue has gone. Whoo hoo! Really recommend this plugin!

WP Data Access puts an easy-to-use “front end” on using a database in a Word Press site. I found it easy to configure and it works perfectly. FIVE STARS for sure!

I’m a classic dev starting in the years when a dev needed to be fluent in SQL as well as the code language(s) and tools for front ends, been coding the web since before it was called the web and so the fundamental of WordPress (data munged into displays) is just ‘duh.’ But WordPress itself has never been more than a quickie system because running real RDBMS database features alongside the WP core but in discreate data stores had been a pain. But recently I had a group that was most comfortable with WordPress and wanted something “real” along with their blog posts and pages AND they didn’t have time enough for a full new system. I looked at PeachPie and was very impressed for getting the advantages of .Net Core compiled code instead of script, but it’s alpha level at best and while great on Azure the group doesn’t have the money for Azure. So tested Participants and was very impressed at the ease of hooking data results – but the multi-table option is in need of updates for WP6x. That lead to Formidable but while it advertises with the term “RDBM”, it isn’t – it is very, very pretty but the relational limitation and no hooks for obfuscating the internal ids set it aside. Then… I spotted WPDA. Bad searching on my part, I had never seen it before. Ahhhh. It took a few days to get the muscle memory of the system and Peter was IMMEDIATE on answering my noob questions and my somewhat less noob questions. He speaks the language of an Oracle/Sql Server developer. A week after my test install, I bought the full pro package for unlimited sites. As the title of this review says, having a tool that lets me do what I think a website should be able to do while retaining the ease of the WordPress blog-based core has changed my view of WordPress itself. I am still keeping PeachPie on my back burner because – you know, COMPILED CORE CODE and full .Net Core abilities – but until that is ready for trusting for releases, WPDA is going to be a fundamental tool for projects for my WordPress loving organizations.

I’ve been using the Premium version of WP Data Access for over a year now. It’s used to manage a public directory of over 10,000 entries.
I’m thoroughly impressed by the power and simplicity of this plugin. It’s incredibly versatile, and the support provided by the developer is fantastic. WPDA does the jobs of several expensive plugins, and does them very well, for much less.
Peter is very responsive to inquiries, and extremely helpful when it comes providing solutions for every challenge I’ve been able to throw at him. I wish all plugin programmers were as passionate.
WPDA is constantly being improved and updated, and in just the past year I’ve seen the plugin grow considerably, often implementing new features and changes that I and others have requested or suggested.

Unable to search entire database for a string. Can only search a single table at a time. Would be useful to also be able to export the database and download it directly from wp-admin, rather than setup a backup to file.

This plugin is a must for working with your database, saving you precious time.
