I am using WPCR plugin and have many posts. I installed this plugin 4 years ago, and then, due to some technical issues, it stopped working, so I uninstalled this plugin. There was some reviews at that time. Now I again install and activate the plugin, but it is not showing the reviews, and i found that I need to set this field YES – “Enable WP Customer Reviews for this page” by editing every post individually, Why is this happening? Is this the new setting? If yes, then I can do it in bulk? or how I can set the new post to YES by default?

When the button “Write your own review” is clicked the user is taken to another display which prompts them to enter a few pieces of information relating to the review they want to leave. Problem is that the review cannot be submitted because of an error which reads “Please enter a valid email addres.”

Several email addresses were tested and each time the same “Please enter a valid email address.” was given.

Does anyone how to fix this? It’s Monday September 23, 2024 10:26 PM PST. Approxiamtely 24 hours earlier the review process worked fine.

I’m stumped!

So, how do we actually use this with a Multisite? We have the same product on 5 websites (each site is for a different country and are all connected as a Multisite Network). So if someone leaves a review for the product on one of the sites, how do we then get that review to appear on the other 4 sites?

I have activated the plugin and enabled reviews, but when I edit on elementor there is no option for a reviews block. How can I check if this is because it is conflicting with my theme? My theme is hello elementor. it is unlikely conflicting with a plugin as i have very few.

Inside an accordion I need to create a list of business with just the star rating from WPCR to the left of the name. Each business entry will have its own page or post so I can find a unique ID for the shortcode. Is there anyway to isolate just the star rating without any other text of treatment?

I would like for the reviews not to be in blockquotes.

I’m not sure why original reviews would be in blockquotes. For maximum SEO benefit, you want Google to recognize the original content as value on the page. Thus, I recommend removing the blockquote.

Can I please get the steps to remove the blockquote element completely?

Would anyone know how to add line breaks and general formatting to the ‘admin response to review’ section? There’s line breaks etc when someone posts an actual review but if I respond, it’s just one long line of text apart from the punctuations.

is it possibale to share revews between 2 landing pages for local?

How can I edit the reviews that I had imported in the past and is under the general shop category.

On the live site the reviews render correctly but not on the staging site.

Here is what we have done:

1. Updated the plugins
2. Updated themes
3. Deleted unnecessary Plugins.
4. Looked at the site to see if there were any errors. We only viewed the front page.
5. We Updated the PHP to 8.3 from 8.0

Everything seemed OK. We went into the products to take a look at them and found that the reviews were being injected between each one of the add-ons in our products.

What we have done to troubleshoot:
Activated the base WordPress theme 2024 and 2012 – No change
Deactivated Half The plugins – No Change
Activated the the first half then deactivated the second half – No Change
Reverted back to PHP 8.0 – No Change

Used to be able to do HTML <b> and </b> for bold and <i></i> for italics. Not sure why that does not work anymore, can someone help please?

If you look at the provided link to our website page, when Page 2 of reviews is clicked at the bottom, the notice “You have failed the spambot check. Code 0” appears as an error popup and the 2nd page of comments will not load. This occurs in every browser tested. The Contact Form 7 submission form on the page does not have a filter installed, nor does the page overall. I disabled Akismet Anti-spam and tested with the same result. Cleared cache on website and browser each time tested. Can a fix be deployed to offset this problem?

How to automatically activate the plugin in all posts?

I’ve got duplicate reviews showing but when I search the reviews, there’s only one of each. I’ve tried the ‘remove_duplicates’ but this doesn’t seem to work.

Hi, we want to sync reviews from one website to another. Both are live websites, one in one country, one in another. With the same content that gets reviewed.

What would be the best way to do that, either manually or automated?

I’m looking into creating a custom theme for a frontend view, is there any way i could create custom theme files, without loosing them during updates?

According to the comments in the files any changes done to the template files will be overwritten each time plugin updates\activates, so i was curious if i could create a custom template, which would save each time there was an update for the plugin.

I had an idea of creating a separate folder for the templates and then changing path to the folder in the script file, but i’m afraid these changes to the script could also be overwritten by updates.

Is it possible to designate an email alert when a review is submitted and pending approval? I thought it would automatically go to the Admin’s email, but there doesn’t appear to be any alert system other than looking under the Review tab for pending reviews.
