Hi, I have a problem, not sure if it is instagram or this plugin, I hope you can help.
I set up a page with a static HTML page as front page. In order to do that, I had to create a placeholder static page in WordPress that is selected as FrontPage in the general settings. The static page is loaded in its stead. Working fine from the browser. When posting the homepage link on instagram, it does not load the static page but the placeholder and is taking a screenshot of that instead. Not sure what I’m doing wrong here. There’s no redirects happening that could cause a bot to drop out. Not sure if it’s a javascript as the page is basically just a big animated canvas, but that should at least show the background color not the placeholder page. So the question is, why is the static page not loaded at all? Caches are cleared.

I researched so much to publish custom html (eg. <html> to </html>) and i finally found this helpful plugin.
I am moving my whole site to wordpress so, I want to move my all pages to wordpress site. all pages html is already ready to my end. I just want to use this plugin to publish it on my wordpress site so, as i said there are thousands of pages i have to move at a time. is there any way to publish custom html pages by using API with wpchtmlp_page post type or any onother way? Please help.

I have hand coded a landing page for my WP site with HTML, CSS and JS. the HTML file is in the root and the CSS and JS files are stores in ‘assets/CSS’ and ‘assets/JS’ directories.
I want to know
– where to put the ‘assets’ folder within my WP File System so that I can link to those files from within your plugin?
– what would be the relative url like?

Nice work, mate! This is almost perfect for our cases.
However, some of our links are broadcasted and added google analytics tracking e.g.
permalink: https://your.wordpress/your-page
broadcasted:
https://your.wordpress/your-page?utm_source=web&utm_medium=test&utm_campaign=test
in our wordpress, it shows 404 when we added parameters in the URL.
For the time being, we are doing workaround with redirection to remove all the parameters. However this limit our ability to track where the traffic is coming from.
Can you accomodate the option of having these kind of parameters/tracking on later releases/updates?

Can you change the type of the column wpchtmlp_pages.html from TEXT to MEDIUMTEXT or LONGTEXT?
Currently plugin limits you to 64 Kb size of page.
For SingleFile page sometime this is very small.
