Hi!

Today I installed this plugin. A short promo video seemed to say that you can choose different styles, hover effects etc. I’m looking for those settings. I’d like to change the standard arrow only when hovering over a link, both texts, buttons and images. But now the cursor is being changed into a circle (I can only choose from a series of circles) at all times, the hover effect for buttons is only a shadow and when hovering over a YouTube-movie that I embedded, the normal hand is visible. How do I change that?

The custom cursor does not appear on pop-ups in Firefox and Safari browsers. However, everything is fine in Chrome. I have tried many things, but nothing has worked so far (on Safari, clearing the cache seems to work somewhat, but the problem quickly returns). Is this a known issue with pop-up elements (I saw an open thread about this, but I didn’t see a solution)?

You could check in the website test (menu Agence for example).

I’m looking to have the same hover effect when I hover over a link, a button and, for example, the navigation arrows.

I tried the custom cursor but nothing works. Do you have an idea or a custom code to do this ?

Currently, when I hover over a button, the cursor does not change even though I would like it to act like a link (the cursor changes color a little and becomes larger).

First, great job on this plugin. I added a “image shape” to the cursor, but how can I have it do the “tracer” or “slow catch up” when I move the mouse and the image catches up. Right now it is instant and would be cool to delay it, like in your samples. Thanks!

This seems to be working just fine in Safari, but in Chrome it will show the default cursor layered on top of the custom cursor with it turned off in settings.

After the update to 3.3.0 I see this error when I look at a page preview:

Undefined array key “hide_admin” in /home/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-custom-cursors/public/class-wp-custom-cursors-public.php on line 88

and when I edit a cursor I see:

I have a small issue on mobile where my arrow cursor stays on the screen when clicked on my custom element: the next / prev. arrows of my carousels.
Is there a solution for this?

Is the plugin compatible with WPML ? Or is there a way to translate only that ?

Hello there! fantastic plugin you made here! really impressed on how easy it is to setup my cursor!
I have a small issue with hover cursor on my carousels. I have used the classed and setup the cursor to show a left arrow for Prev. and right arrow for Next image. it work on the Next but show no icon on Prev. what did I do wrong?

this is my setup:
Shape:

Background Color: black
Width: 100 px
Activates on: .elementor-swiper-button-prev

————

Shape:

Links and buttons:

Also, is it possible to use blending mode on the hover cursors as well?

Hi guys, it is possible to use this plugin only on frontend? I have Oxygen Builder to make my sites great but your plugin affects that and on backend when I edit site, I’ve problems because some places aren’t clickable (with plugin, without is good). Can you help me with this?

thanks again for this great plugin ?? I have already mentionend this in a comment on codecanyon but i thought this might be a more suitable environment to discuss the issue.

There seems to be a bug in the plugin that makes the cursor disappear after viewing a fullscreen lightbox. I implement youtube videos as a grid on one of my sites and to be compliant with the gdpr it is necessary to embed them into a lightbox. Unfortunately after viewing the lightbox and closing it, the cursor has disappeared and it gets impossible to navigate.

Maybe this helps you to address the issue. But anyways its still a great and easy to use plugin!

Hello, I had cursors on this website already configured, many to be displayed on hover. I have updated the plugin and they have all been deleted. Is there a way to get them back?

Hi there,

I uploaded an SVG for the cursor and it worked great, except that on hover it just disappears and there is no cursor for hover. I had to manually upload a png in the CSS settings for hover, but ideally, I would much prefer to have a separate SVG for hover. Can you help with this?

at the backend I have put 2 rules for and for “the_a” class. This causing 2 cursors to be enabled. Any idea how I ca fix it?
