Can I use the plugin to prevent user that buy the file to download it? I have billing company that can redirect the user to page in the site, can I put the file in this page and the user will see it but don’t download it and pass it to a friend?
Can I prevent direct access to the page and allow access if coming from the billing company site?
I have added the encrypted pdf and encrypted from Copysafe PDF converter but it shows this error Sorry, there was an error uploading your file.
https://prnt.sc/vvpvy4
I have added the encrypted pdf to this page for a test – but it is not showing.
This is the shortcode displayed in the page [copysafepdf name=’mypwebsitelayout.class’ bgwidth=’600′ bgheight=’600′ prints_allowed=’0′ print_anywhere=’0′ allow_capture=’0′ allow_remote=’0′ background=’CCCCCC’]
So what might be the issue?
]]>Now you can create or edit an existing page or post and add copy protection by uploading or selecting an already uploaded PDF. Look for the [PDF] icon beside the media upload icon.
I believe these instructions still refer to the old editor of WordPress. I cannot place a secure PDF in the new editor s it is and I cannot install a plugin to change to the old editor.
Is there any workaround?
I wanted to test the plugin, but when I tried to upload a file I get this message:
“Sorry, only .class files are allowed.”
And I’ve manually uploaded a pdf to the folder, and it still does not load.
Can you tell me what can be the issue?
Thank you.
IS no longer available for download?!
I’m changing my site now from wix to wordpress because of this pluguin and is no longer available?!!!
]]>Hi,
I bought a license a few weeks ago based on what I’d read on your site and the need for exactly what you were offering on WordPress, but now I’ve come to get it up and running I find I can’t get the settings to allow any other browsers other than your own ArtistScope web browser. This wasn’t clear before I purchased the license and to be honest this restriction make the plugin and license pretty useless for what I need it for – that is not to say isn’t exactly what others need – I’m sure it is, but for me and the company I’m working with it’s just not what I thought.
Am I missing something or is it indeed a fact that this won’t work with any modern browser? If so, might there be a possibility of a refund? I’m really sorry but I had no idea and I did spend quite a while reading up on it before I purchased.
Thanks in anticipation.

]]>Hello,
I know this issue was raised before, I’m still having this error even though my /uploads and /copysafe-pdf are all in 777 permission. I’ve done it using Filezilla and cPanel but to no avail, my account is a Super Admin account so changing file permissions wouldn’t be an issue.
I’m running out of options. My website is on WordPress Version 4.1 and using Genesis framwork.
Thank in advance!

how do I insert the file to post/page?
Hello.
I am looking for a plugin to allow me to link to a protected PDF file via some text (e.g. user clicks linked text and the protected PDF opens in another tab) which is restricted (i.e. I want it to so that the PDF cannot be right-clicked, copy or pasted or screen grabbed etc.), can this plugin do this?
Do I have to embed the PDF in to the page itself (via Add Media for example) or can I link off to it as I have described? So far I have not found a WordPress plugin yet that displays secure PDF files and/or disables copy and paste and general stealing of hosted PDF files viewed via my blog.
Many thanks.
Ian
]]>Every time I try to upload a PDF from the PDF button I get “Error! Upload directory is not writeable!” How do I change this?
Although I have a few PDFs already in my library, they never appear under existing files when I click on the PDF button.
Basically, how can I get this to work?
Thank you.
