I see that he plugin hasn’t been updated for 3 months.

Hi Everyone,
I been using wp blog and widgets plugin for a couple of years now. I just moved my site from one hosting provider to another. It was a manual migration process which includes updating links and stuff related to that. I was successfully able to migrate the site but the pagination is not working properly on the migrated site. Whenever I try to open any specific page or Next page, it takes me to this ID #wpbaw-blog-1 instead of redirecting to a link. Please feel free to visit the link and see the ongoing issue. Any inputs to resolve would greatly be appreciated.

How can author and date meta be shown on single WP Blog posts, and specifically in Gutenberg…?

I have it set for displaying author and date meta on the Blog display page that shows all the single blog posts with an excerpt, via the short code, just fine… But that does not carry over to the single blog posts pages themselves…

I’ve tried variations of the [author] shortcodes but all blogs by all authors are displaying rather than a single author’s.

On the page I look after, we have a shop menu, shop, blog etc.
Today I added a blog.

To my surprise, the content area is suddenly narrower than expected, squeezing my menu onto a second row. Funny thing is that this is the only blog page with this behavior…

I’ve been trying a lot so far, including trying to stretch the menu, separating the menu from the page, setting all to full width, and so on. The behavior on this page remains the same…

Any chance you can look into this? This has been costing a lot of time already…

I really like this plugin, but for some reason I can’t figure out how to translate ‘category’ to ‘categorie’. The latter one is Dutch, and so is my site.
A quick search with Dreamweaver results in thousands of answers in which the lettercombination ‘category’ is present.
Can you put me in the right direction?
Oh, and if you would like me to translate the whole plugin, lemme know, I’d be happy to do so for a pro code ??

In the grid (https://www.scholengemeenschap-beerse.be/) my image is displayed correct
but i want to align it left (not centered).

In “read more” (https://www.scholengemeenschap-beerse.be/blog-post/update-maatregelen-vanaf-maandag-25-januari-2021/) my image is cropped and i see grey bars beside.

How can I correct both issues ?

Is there a way to remove the pagination? I only want to show three blogs and I don’t want users to be able to click “next/prev” or anything.

Why do you need this in addition to the built-in functionality of WP blog?

I have been using Jetpack to manage subscriptions to my website for 3+ years. I am using Blog and Widget 1.8.1 to manage my blog. Some time in the last 6-8 weeks, subscriptions stopped working, i.e. emails were not being sent out to subscribers. I did do an update to Jetpack in that time. I am running Jetpack 8.5. I think I read that JetPack [now] only works with Post objects and not customized objects. Is that correct? Do I need to “migrate” to a different plugin?

Hello, is there any way to change the post slug for blog items from blog-post to something else? I took a look at the code and it seems to be hard-coded. It would be great to have a settings page with the ability to change the blog post slug in a future update.

In another plugin I display my blogs using post_type=”blog_post” however, I do not know how to add the custom categories. How do I do this? I want to display only one blog post category.

We add Google Tag Manager dwo years ago, and last week I saw that we don’t have site users only on blog page.

My team has recently purchased the pro version of this plugin and we want to able to change the layout by pointing the plugin to use a custom single post page.

How would we make the plugin point to a different post template so we can make the changes we need?

We’ve tried the Blog designer and It lacks the layout changes we are looking for.

The server hangs for hours with over 90% cpu and massive io when the Update button used. Note every time but certainly is will happen in less than three updates.

The same bug appears in both WP Blog and Widget & Blog Designer – Post and Widget suggesting common code problem.

Both plugins have been removed as highly dangerous.

If I uninstall Gutenberg everything works fine. I thought this plugin works with Gutenberg?

my blog editor crashed while i was editing a post. The following sentence is written with three buttons. “Im Editor ist ein unerwarteter Fehler aufgetreten.” Translated: “There is an unexpected error in the editor.” The buttons say “try to recreate”, “copy blog text”, “copy error message”. the recreation button doesn’t work.
Deactivating and reactivating the plugin doesn’t work either.
