I discovered this fatal error/conflict with elementor today and my site host suggested:
The error appears to stem from a call to mysqli_fetch_object() within class-wpdb.php, which is part of the WordPress core database handling class. This is triggered by the wp-auto-affiliate-links plugin trying to retrieve affiliate links. High numbers of database queries or inefficient queries can cause long response times, leading to server slowdowns or timeouts. The log shows wpaal_add_affiliate_links() being called, which is a function from the wp-auto-affiliate-links plugin. This plugin might be executing a heavy database query or causing a conflict with other plugins or themes, such as Elementor. These types of conflicts can affect performance, especially if both plugins try to manipulate post content or excerpts simultaneously.

I noticed from the information provided that your plugin allows for both automatic and manual input of affiliate products/links, however I’ve seen no option available and have inputted all links manually.
The links I created are not automatically hyperlinking keywords, where some keywords may use unique lettering such as hyphenated letters. This also includes some keywords that are just one word.
According to the information I saw, there were supposed to be options such as “General Settings” and the option to export/import from a text file, of which I do not see as an option.
My administrator has informed me that I should have no restrictions on their site and thus I’ve come here to found out a way to resolve this.
Also excluded posts do not show after being added.
The statistics panel can’t be activated by me, even though I have the associated permissions.
I’ve added linked from both the Amazon US and UK sites, as some products do not share proprietary access across both, I’m not sure if this would present as an issue.
The WordPress version is fully updated as well.
I’ve considered using shortcode to hyperlink keywords but that is rather time consuming when there are an abundance of posts, and the hyperlinks appear in a different colour.
What do I need to do to resolve this? I appreciate the assistance!

i’m using auto affiliate links for internal linking and sometimes, to link to external links, which shouldn’t be tagged as sponsored.
For each affiliate link i could tink “Don’t show link disclosure” but not, that it should’t be tagged as sponsored.
How is it possible to set a single link to be not sponsored / do follow?

]]>Should this plugin work with sites that use BricksBuilder and Metabox? I have attempted to use it on a site that I use Bricks on but no hyperlinks are created when I use custom fields. I have managed to get it to work on text in the post content but not custom fields.
I added a link for a single keyword called dreamstime and have no caching in use. I have tried it on different post types and ensured that is active in the settings with no luck. I also turned on the advanced custom fields option but I am assuming this is for the AFC plugin rather than metabox

]]>The links appear in many posts but not in others, the rule is the same but in some posts they do not appear. What could be the problem? We always talk about the same template.
Tried to deactivate and reactivate without success, Auto Affiliate Link it continues to show 80% of the links but sometimes it loses them.

]]>When creating links to some products via press releases or other cases, it’s sometimes necessary to say Company? and Product Name?, in such cases using those in the keywords will not link the entire thing. If I create a keyword for just “Company” it links. This isn’t a huge issue but in my case I’d like to link “Company? Product Name?” as a whole, which doesn’t work.
I tried the “International Characters” option too but it didn’t seem to change.

]]>The keyword is hyperlinked and clicking it goes to the correctly defined URL.
However tooltips no longer show when hovering pointer over link. It stopped working several revisions ago.
My workaround is to downgrade to AALinks older 6.1.8 plugin, import my CSV with link/keyword/tooltip trios (with delete existing links option), then upgrade to latest AALinks plugin after which hovering over the keyword again shows the tooltip.
Any chance of a fix so no longer need to do this workaround? Suspect it’s some sort of DB refreshing issue as the CSV trio appears correctly in my DB.
Running WP 6.1.1. Clearing OPCache, LiteSpeed Database Optimizer->Clean ALL (inc transients) doesn’t resolve issue.

It worked in the past, but maybe with the new plugin-update the option is not saved.
And even in pages/post, where this option was marked in the past, now the hook is not there anymore.
]]>Hi, I’m testing the “more links with the same keyword” functionality. I found that if I add multiple different links under the same keyword, only the first one shows up.
If I want the second, third, etc. link to be displayed, the “Same link limit” parameter must be set to a low value (1-2) – it must not be set to the “no limit” value. Then the plugin behaves in such a way that after reaching the “same link limit” repetition value for the first link, it displays the second link, then if the second link repeated the set number of times, it places the third one, etc.
The disadvantage is that the “same link limit” value affects the global setting of the plugin – even if only one link is registered under the given keyword.
A better solution would be to assign links randomly (or in round order) in the case of the same keyword, of course respecting the “same link limit” parameter, which could therefore be set to the value “no limit” too.

]]>When I manually exclude post by post ID, the post is added to the list. When I add another post by ID, the other post is added to the list too, but when I get back to the exclude page, both posts disappear from the list and the list is empty.
I can not add several post IDs to exclude without the others being removed.
Is that a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I don’t know if this is necessary everywhere. In Germany, you put * after the advertising link and write at the bottom of the page
* = All links marked with an asterisk (*) are advertising links.
Some do this with * (asterisk) but display an icon. That can also be different.
Is this also possible with your plugin? That would be great.
And I read “Auto Affiliate Links plugin is displaying links only when the content is displayed.”
How is the performance of the site? Doesn’t it slow down if the text is processed again beforehand? Or couldn’t you find anything?
And what if the word has already been linked? Does your plugin recognize this?

I tried doing internal linking with this plugin. I created 2 posts link to the same keywords. For example, “veterinarian”
Now, what I am expecting here is that they would link to each other.
When I check one of the posts, specifically, the first one… It did link a keyword but it is linking to the same page as it was generated.
Is this a bug or what? Keep in mind I have setup the settings to not link more than 1 same link in a post/page
