I installed WP Audio Player on my site, theme:Twenty Twelve. I put the files in the folder audio, and the path is verified. But I keep getting the message: File not found. I wonder why? Tried with absolut as well as relativ address. The files are fine directly in the browser. Other posts talk about interference from other players, and there is the inborn (insuitable) audio player. How can I check if this the problem?
]]>Hello just wondering if it’s possible to change the color of the purple gradient that appears when the audio is playing? Looking to change it to red.
Thanks – Daniel
]]>Does the player have flash player support for ipad and iphone?
]]>Tom, can I have the audio on a page on my site? I have only seen reference to posts, but I want to put them on a page. Thanks!
]]>Nice player, but it’d be nice if you add a button to the kitchen sink for inserting a shortcode anywhere in the post. (A shortcode would also be helpful for theme designers).
]]>Hey all,
First off, thanks so much for your interest in the plugin!
Secondly, for free plugins, I only offer a minimal version of support, but I no longer offer it on this forum. Instead, I’d appreciate it if you’d direct all questions to the contact form on my website.
I do this so that I can make sure that all questions for plugins come into my inbox and aren’t missed here on the forums.
Finally, note that if you post a question here on the forum, I cannot promise that I’ll see to it as my inbox is my primary way of managing support for now. I do not regularly check these forums.
Thanks!
Tom
Hi ,
Im sure your aware of Author Box . Now my Wp Player is showing Below the Author Box . How do I correct that to show above
Hi there, great plug-in great player – everything’s awesome but is there a way to force the player to load prior to the images loading.
I am a wedding photographer and quite often my posts will have 100 odd images, the player waits for all the images to load prior to loading itself ( so there is just a blank space ) whilst the images are loading, meaning that no body will ever seen it because they are not going to wait for all the images to load in order to press play ??
Any way to fix this..?
Hello,
Great start on this plugin!
I was wondering if there was a way to get the audio to display with the post on the category/archive pages. (a function to call, etc.)
Thanks!
]]>Hello,
As I understand the player would be placed after the content. I have social sharing buttons below the content and the player appears below those buttons, while it should be above it.
Thanks in advance.
]]>Hi there, unable to activate plugin. I get this message:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
It seems to be the mobile_detect file.
Please let me know what can be done.
]]>I was looking at the Codrops player wishing there was a WP plugin for it and here it is! You mentioned maybe adding the ability to allow multiple posts if people would find it useful so here it is,. ??
+1 for multiple audio players per post
+1 for shortcodes for manual placement
Thanks.
]]>Ok, I’ve installed it, now what? There isn’t a trace of documentation anywhere, either with the plugin or on your site. Hello?
]]>Hi! The topic title talks by itself. Is it possible?
]]>I just d/l wpaudio and activated the plugin. I have attached an linked an audio file from my library to a picture, but when I click on the picture i am redirected to a blank page with the player in the middle. how do I make it so that the player plays below the picture. Please forgive me, I’m new at this.
Thanks,
Steve
]]>As a note, I don’t think degradation in IE8 to the mini player works properly. I saw this problem on my site, and I also went through a few sites listed on the support board and none of them displayed the player in IE8.
]]>Thanks for this fantastic plugin.
A feature request for this plugin would be Google Analytics Events tracking – Mainly plays, seconds listened to, and the Audio File name or Page Title name.

]]>– The player does not look like the one you have in your Promotional Material.
– The duration slider is not working for me when the file is playing
Hi …this plugin perfectly works in all the browsers except in Mozilla firefox. Right now I am using firefox version 18.0.1, please help me in fixing this issue.
Waiting for the developer inputs.
]]>I hate making my listeners click any more than they have to to find what they want. I would like to see this player displayed on the main index page where the most recent updates to my blog can be found. Is there a way to make this happen?
Thank you, and also thank you for creating this in the first place, I just installed (and deleted) 10 or so different Flash and HTML5 players because they weren’t compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
]]>some way to make the player likt that?
]]>Hello! Love the audio player: clean, concise, good-looking. However, it appears to be non-functional on my website:
https://dwelltwin.org/#!/2013/01/07/january-6-2013/
(It’s under construction, so mind the design. Haha!) The player remains stuck in an “unavailable” position, where pressing play doesn’t work and the player states that the file is zero seconds long!
It’s an AAC file, and it’s an hour and a half long. I’m using Google Chrome. What seems to be the issue, do you think?
