I have a bunch of sites that I have to administrate using this plugin. In wp-appbox/inc/getappinfo.class.php you have this line:
$cookie = tempnam( "/tmp", "CURLCOOKIE" );
It creates an empty cookie file in /tmp that never gets deleted (maybe on a reboot, but you know). So I was deleting half a million files, with an uptime of just 20 days.
So that is one thing that bothers me. But even worse is that this cookie is not even used. Like you have the file create, but $cookie is otherwise unused. So my proposal would be to remove this line as it does not seem to be needed anyway.
Also, I am not really sure why the first order of business in the very same function is to sleep for 3 seconds?

Switching between edit HTML or visually doesn’t help.

When adding the WP-Appbox block in the editor, block says something like “This block contains an error and cannot be viewed”.
It used to work prio wordpress 6.2 update (or maybe prior to latest plugin update, I’m not sure).
When viewing posts on the site it shows wp-appbox commented block instead of app previews (though initially, it didn’t work only in the editor, it stopped working everywhere after reinstall).
When adding a block in the editor browser console shows react error which is decoded as this.
PHP version: 8.1.6, but there was no change here and the plugin worked before.
]]>Hello Marcel, I think this should be and issue specific to our server settings, but I hope you can help me or give me a hint what to change. When I turn on image caching for apps (icon, screenshots, QR…), cached images are saved correctly on our server in /wp-content/cache/wp-appbox/appID/screenshoID (but without file extension like JPG).
But our server can’t render these images, if they don’t have any extension (file.jpg instead of file). And result of this is than images aren’t shown on the web. Do you have any tip what to change on our server settings to make this work? Thank you ??

]]>Hello, is there any way, how to optimize articles, where is for example about 15 appboxes (for Google Play or App Store), because sometimes these articles won’t load and stops and Error 504 page – Gateway time-out (after 60 seconds of waiting… loading) ?? Or is there any settings in WP-Appbox plugin, which should helps to solve this issue?
If we publish article, where is about 1 to 3 or 5 appboxes, everythings work fine, but sometimes we need to publish articles with much more apps and these stucks on Error 504.
]]>I am getting an “Invalid Publisher Code, Offer, or Publisher – Advertiser Partnership Status” error on our (mostly Microsoft Store) WP Appbox boxes. Not sure when this started, but seems to be affecting most/all of our WP-Appbox boxes.
I tried unchecking the affiliate links to see if there was an issue with my Microsoft Store / rakuten affiliate, but am getting the same error even when sending the affiliate $$ to the app publisher.
I also tried clearing the cache and resetting blocked queries in Settings>Advanced>Reset, but that didn’t help either

We found that WP-Appbox is defining a WordPress function incorrectly.
This is affecting WPremote plugin, that is using that function if available causing a fatal error.

WP-appbox plugin is defining the following function in the wp-appbox/wp-appbox.php file.
