This plugin has multiple issues with PHP 8.0 and higher causing the error logs to fill up with warnings, but these will become critical errors in higher versions.
These errors are not difficult to fix (I’ve edited the files to keep it working until we move to a replacement), but there’s no response from support for a very long time now.
UPDATE: When using the plugin to create a PDF from a post, it does give a critical error, that doesn’t even make it to the error log, so it makes the plugin useless already.

just don’t waste your time with this

This is not the best plugin of this type out there, but it does what is says it does. I have been using it for several months and it worked for me. The only reason I switched to another plugin is because this one is not compatible with PHP8 and that is a requirement as my ISP is upgrading.

While I like the many configuration options of this plugin, there is one major disadvantage that makes it useless for many websites: If the page contains shortcodes from a pagebuilder like Divi, these shortcodes will be visible in the resulting PDF, which is definitely not what you want.

Free version is totally useless. We cannot adjust download button position. If you have short code on the page it print it as it. Totally useless plugin. Don’t waste your time to install it.

This plugin like a lot of others works fine, but at the cost of something else; when installing this, my website favicon wouldn’t show up anymore.

Splendid plugin and support team available in a short time for requests and customizations. Absolutely recommended. Thank you so much for your work.

The plugin is not compatible with NextGen Gallery. If it’s enable, you can’t download the generated pdf.

The problem with most converters of this kind is that they span images across the dividing line of pages, which looks ridiculous. That or degrade the images, making them ugly for the ‘benefit’ of compression. WP Advanced PDF doesn’t do either of these so it stands head and shoulders above the competition.
That said, one issue I’ve encountered is that the plugin often ignores the alignment of images seemingly at random, despite the code used being identical in each case. This tends to happen mostly to images touching the line in the header, though not entirely. There’s just no consistency and no solution it seems.
Aside from getting the basics to work, the only thing I’d like to see added is a two column newspaper style option, which would help to alleviate the empty white space issue that crops up when you use large images.

– Nevertheless I have small wishes: Show the full URL inside the header – not only the root URL of the WordPress installation (the URL of the related post / page).
– Make the URL and the links inside the text clickable.
– Inside the right bottom edge, I have “3 / 3” – event the document has one page only.

It generates hundreds of empty pages. Maybe it needs an update.

Good and light plugin but.. Has a conflict with site favicon when plugin installed and activated.

doesn’t display images not hosted within wordpress install – so doesn’t safe a pdf version of the page as presented to the viewer. Essentially useless, for what it claims to want to do – let a reader save the page to read later.

Really simple and straightforward. Even a reported bug has been resolved within a single day. Great work
