Hey Devin,
Are there any plans to update this plugin to support the new dashicons system?
Best,
Jason
Installed the plugin and attempted to change icons with the default uploaded icons to no avail on my online dev server.
This is even after deactivating all my other plugins.
Please advise.

]]>I’ve just tried this on WordPress 3.5.1 and when I try to “Show Included Admin Icons” I get a dialog window reporting, “There was a problem loading the icons”.
]]>When I activate this plugin I receive the following error:
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/flnavs/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-admin-icons/wp-admin-icons-init.php on line 52
Any thoughts on the cause?
]]>Hey there, I don’t want to accuse you without knowing full information, but it looks like these icons were swiped by artist Yusuke Kamiyamane (https://p.yusukekamiyamane.com/)
They are free but he states that you must provide credit attribution to him unless you purchase a royalty free license. The only way this plugin would not be stealing from his work is if you had an agreement with him that allowed you to release his icons to thousands of WP users with no mention of him or money paid to him.
He spent a lot of time on these I’m sure and I’d hate to see his work go unrecognized and uncompensated.
]]>Just a shout-out: Devin has done a great job updating this plugin. The too-many-requests issue has been elegantly resolved via ajax, and it now supports easily uploading your own icon sets. This is finally a top-notch way to assign icons to wp-admin.
You can find a link to a nice icon set (and one of the original tutorials on the subject) at Randy Jensen and then a good cheat-sheet for finding the icon you want to use over here.

]]>Custom Icons appear for standard admin menu items, but not my custom post types. The plug-in settings show that the icon I selected is saved to the post type, but it remains the ‘Pin’ icon in the admin menu.
]]>But maybe it’s not supposed to. Atahualpa does use it’s own icons, so that could be the problem.
For example, if I click “Show Admin Icons” I get the error “There was a problem loading the icons.”
No current Icons are displayed in the settings page.
Wordpress 3.2.1
I patched WP admin icons last night and figured everyone should enjoy the improvements. Among them:
+ CSS fix to make the icons correctly apply to the classes in the admin menu
+ Bug fix for post-types-with-hyphens
+ Icons appear in alphabetical order. Makes it *a lot* easier to browse.
When trying to apply the icon changes, my webhoster just block my IP for security reason: 900 requests sent.
]]>Wouldn’t customize other plugin icons that are using standar WP default icons.
]]>After installing and activating I could not view the settings – it kept wanting me to login. I could not easily deactivate or delete – it forced another login page. Eventually I was able to deactivate and then delete it but it took several attempts and asked for me to relogin multiple times.
