In the “Accessibiltiy Toolbar” section I have checked the first three items (enable, font, contrast) and in the “Toolbar location” I have entered #accessdiv
On my page I have:

(I tried with and without the ).
I still get only the floating toolbar. If I look in the inspector it shows that .a11y-toolbar
is set for postion: fixed
and if I remove this, then the toolbar is in my div. Is there a setting I am missing in the setup?
Hi, I hope you are well.
As for the WordPress Guidelines I create my own topic to report the issue in the topic title.
Same issue as reported by another user in another topic here.
I hope you will find time to fix the error as is not nice having a website with errors in console.
Thank you very much!

Hi,
is it possible that you add a font-display: swap; to future releases on the /plugins/wp-accessibility/toolbar/fonts/css/a11y-toolbar.css file? Google Pagespeed is not amused about this ??
Thank you and best regards!

I tried to fix it with the help from my hosting provider but I think the real problem is something within the WP Accessibility plugin (and a few others).?
Can you please help me with this so that I can use my website to the fullest?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Joe, Thank you for all your good work.
I’m running into a problem with the WP Accessibility plugin in combination with the Divi Eventcalendar. The links of te activitities won’t open in a new tab or page. After switching off the WP Accessibility plugin everything works fine. I couldn’t find a way to switch on or off link opening in a new tab. Am i missing something or is this default for the plugin?
Why does this plugin add a Log Out on admin toolbar?
I don’t understand the logic, it’s on the left top… which not only is in the wrong place but not needed when by default it exists already on the user section.
If I deactivate this plugin on any of my sites, it removes that “Log Out” which clearly is being added by this plugin but I don’t see an option to stop it. Any ideas anyone?
This is a great plugin, but it’s now causing me problems with a new client asking why I’ve added a log out where normally they click to view the site when logged in (I do the same), it’s a VERY bad UI.
Can we please ask it’s removed, or an option to remove it.
I can provide proof of this bug on request to the author.
I have been trying to improve my website’s accessibility but the we accessibility plugin has disabled some features stating my theme catch-box (free) is accessibility-ready. However it is not as it uses read more links which are not recommended without further description. How can I resolve this so I can use the feature I need?

Hi,
When I updated to version 2.1.9, the increase font size option stopped working for page and post text (only menus were increased).
I have rolled back to 2.1.8 and it works fine again.
I am using the latest version of WordPress (6.5.3), and Ocean WP theme.
Hello and thank you for this great plugin!
I want to start a new webpage project and this page should be as barrier free as possible.
So I’m thinking about the best page builder / theme to use.
Is Bricks something you would prefer? Normally I am a Divi user, but I think Divi is not the best theme for such a project.
I would appreciate your opinion, thanks.
Best regards from Germany

I’ve been using both the WP Accessibility plugin and the Google Translate plugin for over 7 years. However, the flags have suddenly disappeared from my translate button. When I disable the WP Accessibility plugin, the flags reappear, indicating a clear conflict. After searching, I found someone who mentioned disabling the feature where the plugin replaces title tags with ARIA labels, and that solved their issue. However, I’m not sure how to do this as I don’t see a setting that allows for it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Title attributes not showing both with Tab and hovering with mouse. Tested now with WordPress 6.2.3; 6.4.3 and CP 2.0.0-rc1. With theme WeaverXtreme and also “2021”. Plugin version 2.1.7. Did not find any possible cause in WP Accessibility settings; all other plugins disabled for test, except Meks Quick Plugin Disabler. Did not notice this problem before (with WP versions 4.9 and 5.x). I switched currently to another Accessibility plugin. The question for me is, is it bug (regression), or could be something other cause (plugin settings?). Anyway many thanks to developer!

I was disturbed to see that the recent update to this plugin added automatic collection and logging of user information. While the plugin pages assert that no “personally identifying” information is collected, many privacy laws have a significantly more expansive definition of what constitutes personal information or personal data, and there is no prompt or notice when the plugin is updated to indicate that it’s started collecting this data! The statistics might have some troubleshooting value (although I’m currently struggling to see it), but they mostly seem to create another log of user behavior that I neither need nor want.

Hi Developers,
it seems the wp-accessibility-stats.php is new since last update?
Sadly there ist a conflict with another Plugin WP Armour that uses the Same Dashboard function: wpa_dashboard_widget
. This causes an Error on the Page Cannot redeclare wpa_dashboard_widget
Just updated two sites from V2.0.1 to V 2.1.1. One shows the toolbar correctly as before but the other site now does not show the accessibility toolbar at all.
I have tried disabling the toolbar and re-enabling it, disabling the plugin and re-enabling it but teh toolbar still does not show.
Both sites are running WordPress 6.3.2.
Any idea what’s gone wrong?

However,
Under the previous 2.x version of Colormag this problem did not exist,.
I have traced back the problem to the WP Accessibility plug-in option “Hide the accessibility toolbar on small screens” (or alike – this was freely translated from Dutch to English).
For the time being, I have removed the selection of this suboption, thus the Accessibility sidebar is now active.
