I could assign reviewers to my abstracts.
Now when looking at review table, i see the type of abstract suggested and the status suggested : accepted for oral
BUT the only bulk action I can do from this table is hide or show…! How can I change the status of the abstract suggested as accepted to accepted.. Do I have to do it one by one???
I could do it from the abstract page, but then I do not see the result of the evaluation…
Thanks!
]]>Hi I have just installed the WP abstract plugin to help manage an event that we are running. I have added the code onto a web page and registered as a subscriber. I have tried to login with the details I registered with but it keeps saying “Invalid username or password. Please try again”.
Also I don’t seem to have received the registration or password reset email to the email ID i used to set up the test account.
Your help would be much appreciated.

]]>I’ve been using WP Abstracts for a few months now. However, over the past week, I’ve been experiencing bulk spam registrations with the following name but different email addresses:
“Bonus alert! 20,000 Lira waiting for you. https://bit.ly/48VwPod Let’s Go”
Initially, I didn’t recognize the spam issue. I tried installing anti-spam plugins and experimented with a few other solutions, but the spam registrations persisted. Within moments, hundreds of accounts were being created. Interestingly, when I deactivated the WP Abstracts plugin, the spam registrations immediately ceased.
I haven’t made any changes to the website since last month. Could you help me identify the issue with the WP Abstracts Registration that might be causing this spam influx?
]]>Hello.
I have two events created. Each one on a different page. The issue is that, using the appropriate shortcode, when I log in to event 1, it redirects me to upload the abstract for event 2, while if I register for event 2, it redirects me to event 2. The shortcodes are [wpabstracts event_id=1] & [wpabstracts event_id=2] What could be happening?

Has this abstract previously been submitted/presented elsewhere? Y/N
If Yes, please provide details.
I’m using login/signup popup plugin. When I signup using that plugin or even with WordPress default registration form, it doesn’t automatically sync the data with WP Abstracts plugin, so the user after getting registered using any other way won’t be able to login until I manually press Sync option in WP Abstracts. Is there any way to sync the registered users data automatically on both sides, either someone register using any other plugin or WordPress default registration form, they would be able to login to their account immediately.

]]>I use Wordfence on my site, which sent me a warning about WP Abstracts (see below). I also see that WP Abstracts has not been tested for WP 6.2. When can I expect to see a patch/update?
Thanks.
Description
The WP Abstracts plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 2.6.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
]]>Hi Kevin
Thanks for continuing to provide such a great plugin. I only use it time to time, but currently hit a problem.
I cannot get it to show a sign up link in the wp abstracts module. Im using the standard shortcode, wp general settings are set to allow anyone to register, I have set up a registraion form in wp abstracts, and Enable WP Abstracts Registration is YES.
When i load the wp abstracts page, not logged in, i just get your sign in box . theres a forgot password link, but nothing to sign up.
am i missing something??
there is currently an active event, which is open.
If i go to /wp-login i can sign up using WP, but id prefer to keep it all within wpabstracts pro

]]>Hello,
Thinking of using this plugin, but can’t find the details on features. On the site, the free version just says “limited features” and here on WP the description of the Pro version just kind of trails off with “features A, B, C, and more.”
Need a comparison list of each feature, showing free features vs pro features.
Where can I find this?
]]>How do I stop reviewers (editors) viewing the wp-admin dashboard?
It would be useful if this plugin used separate permissions so the editing function used for pages and blog posts was separate from the reviewing feature.
]]>When I log in as an editor (reviewer) I get an error message.
We need reviewers to also be able to submit abstracts too.
Nevermind. I have confirmed they reviewers can submit abstracts on your demo site: https://demo.wpabstracts.com/
Perhaps I’m missing where the documentation is that covers this.
]]>The plugin looks great, but how do I then use the accepted abstracts to create a schedule? I’m looking for this Schedule feature that I can see in this YouTube video – was this a customisation maybe?
If this isn’t possible can someone please share how you then displayed the program on the website. A schedule in the form of a PDF document is not what we are looking for. We’d like something that could be integrated – something like Conference Scheduler, but with a way to link to the profile fields.
Thanks.
]]>Dear,
I’m trying to add the WPAbstracts plugin in my website but I can’t succes. I checked all the “tips” in the FAQS and other messages but I’m not able to solve the problem. I succes creating the first login website adding [wpabstracts event_id=1] in a blank page. But when I click to “Create an account” the website that appears looks different to the website configured in the Users/Form Builder menu.
The page only include the first section “login information”. The secction with “Account Information” remains always empty. And the “register” button doesn’t work. I don’t know how to solve it. I’m working with the last version of WordPress, I reinstalled the plugin and I deactivate all the other plugins to discard some incompatibilites, but nothing works. I’m using Divi template. All help is welcome ??

Hello,
Is it possible to override register.html.php and login.php files in the plugin , I am trying to do that by copying the file (for example login.php

When editing an event in WP Abstracts Pro, is there a feature to sort the Topics alphabetically? When I add new ones, they appear at the bottom. I did not see a feature where they can be sorted alphabetically – https://fiudit-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/g/personal/alvarel_fiu_edu/Ea2UN7ldRTZPhT8hafSqdy4BQsBR6j3oUas6LjojJHSCEA?e=TlTZ2P
