Hi, I don’t know if you are still maintaining this brilliant plugin but I contact you in case you are able to help. I am trying to use your plugin’s upload/display shortcodes from within a Userpro plugin template file and none of the shortcodes are working. Even if I use do_shortcode.
Your shortcodes only seem to work from standard post/pages. Is there a hack you can think of to use the shortcodes from another plugin’s directory?
Many thanks

]]>Hi
The plugin seems to intermittently kill the computer’s connection with the WP site on uploading. It doesn’t seem to crash the site – it crashes just the computer’ ability to wok and access the site of about 10 minutes. At fist I thought this was happening for only larger uploads (250KB) but it now seems to happen with all size files. If I leave the web page alone, the file will successfully upload, but I can’t work with a plugin that behaves like this.
Actually i want to save the urls in the post meta of my post in which i have added the shortcode of file upload plz help me.
]]>Wow this seems incredibly promising but i cant activate the plugin.
My server setup does not have htaccess file. It’s controlled by httpd-app.conf file (https://wiki.bitnami.com/Components/Apache/htaccess_configuration)
The error:
Warning: fopen(/opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content/uploads/.htaccess): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/work-the-flow-file-upload/includes/wtf-fu-common-utils.php on line 89
can’t open file
Is there any easy fix?
]]>I noticed that a year ago someone asked you about having hte ability to upload to a single directory. I know we can set it to go to public/uploads. I ma trying to create a situation where paid users can upload, view, and download to/from a single page. Any ideas?
]]>how can I put a button in last stage that my users could be reset the entire details uploaded for me and then start from first stage to the end for submitting new files?
thanks for your good plugin in advance.
I don’t know what does mean:
SyntaxError: Unexpected token

but when it work after logout, work from public it doesn’t work, and I see:
SyntaxError: Unexpected token
but despite media can see in

I have the current plugin installed, using the Pro verion of Work The Flow File Upload, and am using [wtf_fu id=”1″] shortcode in my Files page. When viewing my page in Chrome or Firefox, the Introduction page is displayed but, after clicking on the Start button, I get the XML file.
]]>Hello @lynton_reed, I’m testing WTF FU on a system where I’m the only user at present. The shortcode [wtf_fu_show_files] in a page displays the files I’ve uploaded but will it show to me as the admin all the uploads of all users? Is there such a shortcode with options to delete? There’s nothing in the back end for admins it seems except to set options.
Is that the function of [wtf_fu_list_files] that is not available in the free version?
Maybe I’ve just not read carefully enough what I think is an excellently presented documentation.
Thanks.

]]>Hello! I’m using Work The Flow to handle in page file uploads on a Network of WordPress sites that I’ve set up for students at our University in Lincoln. The sites use a custom theme as well as a custom plugin and a suite of third party plugins to allow students to manage content on fixed pages set up to a template to complete work for a given course.
WTF was working just fine until I updated the network to 4.3 last week at which point I started getting the Unexpected token error. I’ve seen that this is uncommon however I cannot seem to find a specific fix. The plugin is on the latest version (3.0.1 according to my WP Admin) and I’ve also isolated it in a different theme with all other plugins turned off. I’m wondering if the issue therefore is specific to WP 4.3 or my specific environment but I’m not 100% sure where to start looking.
While the issue isn’t particularly critical at present, students are returning this week to study so any ideas you may have as to the probable cause or solution would be greatly appreciated!
]]>Hi,
in one of your posts you wrote:
‘…there are other plugins ,that users have reported using, that handle form input so installing one of these plugins and then putting that plugins shortcode inside a workflow stage may achieve what you are trying to do. There are many such plugins and some may not work in combination with this one so its a matter of trial and error to see if you can get them to work…’.
I am very new to your plugin (and I still do not have your PRO version) but e.g. the shortcode for Contact Form 7 is:
[contact-form-7 id=”16″ title=”form fields”]
To use the shortcode above in a stage I have to use this:
[wtf_eval][contact-form-7 id=”16″ title=”form fields”][/wtf_eval]
or it has to be php code?
[wtf_eval]<?php echo do_shortcode( ‘[contact-form-7 id=”1234″ title=”Contact form 1″]’ ); ?>[/wtf_eval]
Is that what you wanted to explain?
Thanks
Hi,
I get the following message in “Workflows’ and ‘Templates’:

]]>Hello.
I am experiencing issues with filetype error. I may not be using the right shortcode. Here are the shortcodes I am using:

Please help me. Thanks
]]>Hi
I shall firstly thank you very much for the plugin you have designed. It is exactly what I need for my website. In fact, it is what I was not expecting to find, but I was dreaming of. I like the fact that this plugin shows the progress with a progressbar and at the same time writes the progress information, because blind persons like me can not see the progressbar, but they can read the progress information with their screen reader software. I have a small suggestion and a big question for you. The suggestion is:
When uploading a file, I would like to see the upload speed and upload size in clean and round numbers instead of big and decimal numbers. For example instead of:
725.2 Kbit/s, 7000 Bytes out of 10000 bytes
I would like to see:
7.2 out of 10.5 MB uploaded at 74 Kbps
Now my question:
I want to have a workflow for the visitors who send me audio/video files. Most of these visitors are the public audience of my website, not the registered users. The first step is:
Step 1: Please upload your files.
Here, they upload the files and see the list of uploaded files. So far, everything is OK and I can do it. In the second step:
Step 2: Personal Information
Please enter your name, telephone number, email address and message.
When the user fills the form, I would like the form fields to be sent to the administrator. The 3rd step is:
Step 3: Thank you.
The information has been sent to administrator.
I can’t create the second step. I don’t know how to include form fields and text boxes in one of the steps.
Your help is most appreciated.
Best Regards
Hi There,
I have purchased the Pro version and updated to version 3.0. Amazing plugin!
The only problem is that I cannot delete uploaded files by clicking the red “Delete” buttons on the user frontend. I am using Ultimate Member plugin so that users can login and then start the workflow. But after uploading the photos, users cannot delete back the uploaded files if they choose the wrong files.
FYI the shortcode I use is the demo shortcode:
[wtf_fu_upload wtf_upload_dir=demofiles wtf_upload_subdir=images accept_file_types=jpg|jpeg|png|gif max_file_size=2 max_number_of_files=20]
Please help. Thanks!
]]>I think your application is useful and good but the plugin can be uploaded through the shell file of the changed file extension like this “c99shell.php” -> “c99shell.php.jpg” the jpg file is loaded php file. I think you should add some code for filtering.
I can’t speak English well . So I’m afraid you will not understand well. If you need more information please ask me more questions. thank you.
]]>Hi, I plugin works well, it’s wonderful and I use to upload photos to the server but I have two problems:
I can not disable the gallery and also the link to the uploaded file, I use this code:
[wtf_fu_show_files reorder=”0″ gallery=”0″ download_links=”0″]

And I have two additional questions:
1. You can display the number of files the user has uploaded?
2. You can display the weight in MB for all files?
Thank you very much for your help.

]]>Hi There,
I have purchased your pro version and really like the functionality and display. I am primarily using WTF for uploading text and zip files. Is there any way that I can get rid of the thumbnails and just display a list of file names instead? This would be desirable for both post upload and email confirmation. Thanks in advance.

]]>great plugin
just wondering, is there a way to have folders as well as uploading single files?
Hi there,
Thanks for making this great plugin.
When using this plugin with WP Canvas or Mutli Rating Pro, conflicts arrive. On WP Canvas, I can’t expand or collapse the accordians. I switched to another plugin to combat this problem. For Multi Rating Pro, I purchased the plugin so that users can rate post within the WordPress comment field. When both Work the Flow and Multi Rating Pro are enabled, I can’t select the star ratings within the comments. Unfortunately there are no great alternatives for Multi Rating Pro and I really need these plugins to work together.
Any advice? What could be causing the conflict? How can this be resolved?
Thanks again for taking the time to develop Work the Flow!

]]>Hello Lynton,
It has been a long time, I hope you are well!
I am writing to you because the problem that occured at the beginning is back. I have had to shut down the site for a little bit more than a month for a variety of reasons (not related to the site), just got back at it and updated wp and the plugins, was going through site tests to see if everything was fine, and there it was : when opening a workflow and clicking on the “start” or “next” button to go on to the next step, the animation appears, but I stay stuck on the same step ??
Do you know what’s going on?
Using wp 4.2.1
Using work the flow 2.5.4
Tested in Chrome and in Firefox with both last versions, working in none of them.
Thank you for your help,
Best,
Marie.

Is there a way to have the plugin check you really mean to delete a file? At the moment it just goes ahead and deletes and so is vulnerable to ‘user error’.
Many thanks.
