Hi guys,
This plugin does exactly what Im after but it appears it has been discontinued. Is there anywhere I can download it? Is there any chance it will be supported again???
When the plugin is active and I go to update a post the text in the post disappears. I have tried pasting the revision of said post into the visual editor and then switching to the text editor. What I get then is table HTML inserted into the post by some means. It is your plugin that is doing this.
I don’t know how, I don’t know why, and I have no idea what to look for, but the plugin is malfunctioning. You know the plugin’s code better than I ever will and you need to fix it.
]]>I had a wiki disappear. You can find the wiki in question at Species, which part of the Mythus Wiki. When you get there you’ll notice one thing, effectively there’s no wiki, all the text is gone. I did deactivate all the plugins I have with the obvious exception of the wiki one, and still the Species entry was gone. I have looked at the page source, but I don’t know where to look in all I found there. I’m going to try converting the wiki to a custom post type, but that may not work. To sum up, you’ve got a problem

]]>I am working on a website where I want some of the user roles to not be able to publish the already existing content if they edit. The whole point is that they should be able to edit but when they publish it should not publish that content as it has not been approved by the admin. it should go to some some status like pending_to_publish ( or something similar) what I am doing is that I am choosing the date that is in the future for those wiki posts and I want the wiki pluggin to check the date before it publishes and NOT to display any wiki posts that are in the future.
How can I do that ?
]]>First thing, as old it is it still works on my installation of WP. You’re lucky.
That said, it has come to my attention that your wiki plugin does a better job of handling books than MyBook does, and it looks to me like the writer of that plugin has no intention of supporting it anymore.
Have you given any thought to forking Wiki into a plugin allowing one to “publish” a book on-line
]]>Hi everyone,
I appreciate if anyone can solve my problems.
After installing Photostory theme, suddenly the visual editor screen became black background with white font color.
Wiki and CustomCSS plugins have changed too.
Now I can’t do anything with setting menu and add categories.
CustomCSS (SiteOrigin CSS) inspector background and font color are white and a hierarchy of the elements too.
It is difficult to see the code.
Is there any way to solve above?
Thanks for your help.
]]>I’ve just performed a clean installation of WP 4.5.3 and installed Version 1.1.0.3 of the WordPress Wiki plugin and the first thing that I noticed is that there doesn’t appear to be a function for creating pages in the wiki.
Could someone please tell me how this is done?

I’ve just performed a clean installation of WP 4.5.3 and installed Version 1.1.0.3 of the WordPress Wiki plugin and I’d like to know about Wiki user accounts and access control. I understand that many of the features of WordPress Wiki are only available in the premium version but I’d like to know:
Are Wiki users different than WordPress users?
If Wiki users are not different than WordPress users: What makes the Wiki significantly different than WordPress pages?
I am now using Wiki with Dyad and it works perfectly except for one strange little glitch. Using “attributes”, I can make sure each subwiki lists and displays alphabetically everywhere… except on the home page of the Wiki. There, the subwikis are listed chronologically and I have had to manually change the publication dates to get the list to display alphabetically. Since I am only one of several people working on the site, others will be jumping in and therefore changing the publication date which is going to lead to chaos. You can see the two lists on this page: https://crfg.org/WordPress/wiki/fruit/ The list in the Wiki widget in the footer is arranged correctly by attributes while the list above it is generated without any input by me and does not actually appear within the wiki post in my dashboard. I changed the publication date on the Feijoa subwiki just to demonstrate how it pops to the top of the wiki-generated list even though the wiki widget still displays it correctly between Edible Hardy Palm Fruits and Fig. Is there any way of fixing this, either in the free plugin or the premium?
]]>Using Twenty Sixteen theme. Site still under construction but I believe visible (I am one of many working on it). Sample page in question:
On Sub-Wiki pages like this, the link at the top of the page makes no sense to me, eg. Fruit Facts>Wikis>Avocado. Clicking on Fruit Facts brings reader to top of Wiki, which I desire. Clicking on Wikis yields 404 error. First of all, since Fruit Facts is my first and currently only Wiki, why does it point to Wikis? Secondly, how do I get rid of “Wikis” in the link? Thanks.
]]>Hi WPMU DEV Support:
I had used your Wiki plugin before for an earlier Wiki page, but then deactivated and deleted it once it was no longer needed for my site. Now, several years later, I need it again, so I have reintroduced the plugin, and created a new wiki with two layers of sub wikis. Curiously, the main title of the index on the top wiki appears as the subtitle of one of the pages that I used in the earlier set of wikis. I have looked for such a page or wiki in the normal menus but cannot find it. Any suggestions for how to remove or rename it? I assumed it would be the same as the name of the main wiki itself. I am using Wiki 1.1.0.3 and my theme is TwentyFifteen.
My apologies if the answer to this questions is obvious.
]]>Hello,
I use the free version of the plugin to my wordpress site, but I can not upgrade because it is not compatible with the wordpress version 4.5.2.
Will make you upgrade to plugin to be compatible with new versions of wordpress? or can you suggest me a free wiki plugin to use?

2. When I combine this with Frontend Publishing plugin, there are 2 sections which are not recognized: Wiki E-mail Notification and Wiki Privileges?
Hello everyone.
Im running in some trouble to setup wiki pages visibility. By default all pages/vikis/post I’m creating are private and managed by groups capabilites. Only registred users can read the content. All works fine for pages and posts but not wikis. If wiki page is set to public, main wiki page lists all sub wikis but when I setup subwiki as private they are not visible on main wiki page anymore, but can be find by wordpress search tool (so it is not user access issue). Is there a way to make subpages visible?
current settings:
Wordpress 4.4.2
Groups 1.10.1
Private by Default 1.0
Wiki 1.1.0.3
WP Hide Post 1.2.2 (checked if deactivate change sth in this case but is not)
Related User/Groups/Access settings:
User’s groups:
Registered
visitor
Groups capabilities:
Registered: no capabilities
visitor: groups_read_post
read_private_pages
read_private_posts
read_private_wikis
Capabilities defined:
groups_read_post
read
read_private_posts
read_private_pages
read_private_wikis (created manualy)
Wiki Access Restrictions:
Wiki — Private: read_private_wikis (main wiki page)
— Ruby scripts — Private: read_private_wikis (subwiki)
I would appreciate any help and ideas if it is possible to change behave or fix setup if wrong. Regards
]]>Hi there!
I would like to make a list of the 10 most recent Wiki’s and a list of the 10 most recent modified Wiki’s on my website.
How would I go about doing this? Can you help me?
I see that there is a Widget that displays New Wiki’s but I can’t limit the amount that is showed so it is not useful.
I hope there is a way to create these lists.
Thanks!
]]>Hi there!
I would like to know if there’s a way to change the color of the Wiki’s listed in the sidebar menu. I would like to give them a color so you can easily see what the main Wiki’s are and what the sub-wiki’s are. However, I see that the Wiki’s don’t have a custom class, so I can’t use CSS.
Is there a way to do this? You would make my day ??
]]>I have it now at https://www.Rap.com/wiki – I would like there to be some sort of a “wiki” home page for example I have https://www.Rap.com/wiki/eric_the_prince two things there is that one, it’s not full screen, I dont know how to remove the sidebar there, and two it’s not case sensitive, like Wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_the_Prince is capital, wondering how I can make it look like that so it feels more wiki like as we’re making profile on producers and engineers, in addition to that I want to allow registered guests to edit it, not anonymous guests, I dont want them to have to sign in through WordPress or anything either, I’d rather it be somewhat separate – how can we do this?
]]>Some questions
1) Is the guest-post-option only available in the paid version?
2) Is it possible to add cutom field to the wiki. (if yes how?)
Thank you!
]]>First thing, Wiki 1.1.0.3 works fine with WP 4.4 and Weaver Xtreme 2.0. However. WE 2.0 offers a feature that works with posts and pages, but not with wikis. That being, text columns. Is there any chance of getting an update to your plugin so it will work with WE 2.0 so that wikis can get text columns?
]]>Hi Guys,
I am looking for a wiki plugin, one requirement is that it will have 3 sections for 3 differnet user types:
Staff (see all 3)
Clients (see clients & users)
Users (see users only)
Is it possible with your plugin to setup permissions like this based on ‘section’ of the wiki?
]]>I noticed that after updating to WordPress 4.4 using Wiki version 1.1.0.3 that the Visual and Text Editor for the Wiki Pages has become disjointed and lost much of its styling. All of the buttons still work and I can edit what I have, but the styling is gone.
]]>Hello, is it possible to list only the wikis belonging to a specific wiki category in the sidebar (widget area)? There is no such option within the predefined widgets, but I assume there’s a way to acchieve this by hardcoding an if-elseif-else query into the theme’s sidebar template. Grateful for any input.

We are constructing a medical wiki site for our client using your Wiki Lite and the preliminary site has a speed issue. The admin page for editing a Wiki page takes 40+ seconds until it is fully loaded and become editable.
The main reason is that the Wiki pages are classified with a taxonomy with 4,000+ terms, but this is a common issue for all post types on this WordPress site. Even when we detach this large taxonomy from all post types, the Wiki editing page still requires 20+ seconds, while editing pages for other post types load in several seconds.
In addition, the admin page for listing Wiki pages takes much longer than other post types. We have already 3,600+ Wiki pages, but the listing page should looking only for the first 20 pages.
We have thought of use of Wiki Pro for the product site, but our client will never accept this issue, so we may have to switch the plugin or platform.
Do you believe Wiki Pro would solve this speed issue?
Or, would Wiki Pro provide a site-specific support service?
If required, we can provide a WordPress ID for you to review the preliminary site.
hello
does this plugin automatically add a list of references in numerical order at the bottom of an article – in the same way Wikipedia does?
thanks
]]>Can you?
]]>We use Press Permit as the core Permission system and it has proven really good for all sites, so far.
Looking at Wiki, we seem to not be able to control edits nor reads properly
A) Read denied
–>Error page where the editor is still open despite the message
“Wiki page you are looking for does not exist. Feel free to create it yourself.”
B) Restrict write
–> The edit tab still visible and people can edit
As Wikis are just another post typoe, I would really recommend to implement them as such, so that standard hooks for other security plugins still work.
Referring to the membership plugin as the only supporting control plugin is not really user friendly, as we have already purchased a [allegedly] better one (see the rating comments).
This might become a killer criteria of using this plugin (and the pro)
thx
