I’ve commented the line out for the time being:

This doesn’t really make sense, because the syntax looks correct. We were initially trying to use the “id” notation because otherwise the tabs are displayed with “tab-01”, “tab-02”, etc., but haven’t found a way to make the ID work. The error being displayed is new, and probably happened after the Jan 13 update.

]]>Have been using the old version with tab slides for a few years using now deprecated {tab=Tab Title} Contents {/tabs} so when I updated all this was broken
Now new version will not let me use more than 4 tabs at a time and I can’t work out how to nest tabs, so what was working just great now doesn’t work at all.
Previously I had 12 monthly tab slides each with corresponding weeks nested in them, can’t seem to do that anymore, at least it’s not obvious to me and I managed to work it out previously.

]]>I haven’t checked up on my site in a bit (i.e. viewing every page from the front end). I noticed that with the latest version of WP this plugin has stopped working in IE. I use the tabs feature. In Firefox and Google Chrome it works with no issues. In IE all I see is the page minus the content (the content is inside the tabs). I’m using the latest version of the plugin and latest version of WordPress.

]]>I’m having issues getting basic links to work within tabs in the WordPress Tabs Slides plugin. I have found that switching the arrangement of a tab occasionally will make the links within the body text work, but this is sporadic and I can’t figure out the logic of why links aren’t working 99% of the time.
Here is an example of the plugin in use and the issues I’m having.

Under the Resources tab there are several links (to PDFs hosted off-site), which are bolded and should be links, but are not working correctly. More specifically, the links are styled (bold and red), and they are formated as links in the code, but there is no hover action, no change in the tooltip, and no way for the visitor to know that the text is a link they can click.
Have other people run into this problem? I see that there is a thread about linking to a specific tab, but that doesn’t address my issue because I’m not trying to send a visitor to a specific spot in the tabs, I’m trying to link out of the tabs.
Any help gratefully received.

Note that I also updated Lightbox Plus to the newest version. There’s a chance that interfered, I suppose.

– It does not work for you. The page shows the {tab=Tab Name} {/tabs} on the page itself.
Guess what, if you go to Settings > Tabs Slides [ see https://cl.ly/bdb4b3e61d90feb3c193 ] & change the “Style” to something like green or orange & save then the Tabs will work! You can switch back to default style, it will continue to work.
I have no idea why is it so, but every time on the first install it does not work, and works every time after I do this.

If this plugin “stops working” after you update, make sure to go to the plugin settings page and enter any settings you need to. One very important setting is the “milliseconds” setting. Set that to 1000 or 2000 and your Slides will miraculously start working again:)
