]]>Hi all,
I have followed the instructions as per the read me file.
1. copied wp-mobile.php to the root of the ‘plugin’ directory,
2. copied the carrington theme folder to the ‘themes’ directory, and then 3. clicked on ‘activate’).
And I get this error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare cfmobi_default_browsers() (previously declared in /hermes/bosoraweb140/b484/nf.audio2u/public_html/sinelanguagepodcast.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-mobile-edition/wp-mobile.php:45) in /hermes/bosoraweb140/b484/nf.audio2u/public_html/sinelanguagepodcast.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-mobile.php on line 106
Anyone able to enlighten me as to what the issue here is, please?
Thanks in advance!
I have a couple of pages that I need presented in desktop form only.
I know you can add ?cf_action=reject_mobile to kick to the desktop theme but it also redirects you back to the root of the site.
Example.
If you go to https://www.mydomain.com you get a mobile site
If I send a link like https://www.mydomain.com/123/?cf_action=reject_mobile it sends you strait the to desktop version of https://www.mydomain.com where I need it to send them to the desktop version of https://www.mydomain.com/123
anyone know how to retain the full url in the redirect?
Since upgrading to WP 3.5, WPME has not worked at all.

]]>I see there’s not a lot of support happening, so just thought I’d share this tip. To remove comments on the mobile version, look for the ‘comments.php’ file in the theme folder. Then remove the PHP code leaving the header and footer intact.
ie. remove these two lines:
if (__FILE__ == $_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME']) { die(); }
cfct_comments();
Disclaimer: I’m not a programmer, but it seems to work! Let me know if you have any further tips.

]]>Hi. Great little plug-in. But my top navigation on the standard browser have lots of links in an unordered list. They all show up like a tag cloud at the top of the mobile version — a terrible user experience.
Is there any way to modify the navigation that appears on the mobile version? Or is there a way to just delete?
Thanks!

There was no support for the whole year, and the developer seems shut down that thread.
Find an alternative plugin.

I have installed your plugin for two sites I have running in wordpress, but I am confused as to how I can make a simple url that I could use to see the mobile version from a computer as well. Instead of:

Better:

Wondering if it’s possible to exclude the iPad from getting the mobile version of my sites. The sites look great on the iPad and there are quite a few people who visit one of my sites using an iPad… including my boss & owner. Anyhow… thanks in advance.
