when going into light house under best practices it says “browser errors logged in console”

I have autoopmize and a few plugins installed I tried deactivating them, clearing the cache, and reinstalling the theme, no matter what it does not work.

If anyone else has a similar issue please let me know how you solved it?

The forms worked beautifully until this most recent WP upgrade to 3.5. At that point every form we had simply quit displaying on our site.

I tried to activate the “Form Maker” plugin but it says: “plugin could not be activated due to a fatal error”

here is the error:

I’m having trouble on creating forms.
When I create a form with more than 1 field it’s fine, but when I create with only one field and I try to rename it, it won’t work, it just goes back to the ‘new field’. I’ve tried everything …

Does anybody know what can I do to make it work?

Despite some minor “formatting” issues, I love this plugin because it does exactly what it needs to do simply and easily.

However, there is a major bug.

If you have an UPLOAD FILE element in your form, and you don’t upload a file, the form won’t send.

Also, if you don’t upload the form, instead of saying “YOUR FORM HAS BEEN SENT” after hitting SUBMIT, the form responds with “-1”.

Is there a way to fix this?

plugin doesnt activate

This plug-in is basically great! (I’d like more flexibility– like multiple selections in drop-downs, custom CSS for the form, etc., but you know what they say: “if wishes were horses…”)

meanwhile, the plug-in appears to have a feature to present a confirmation then to redirect to another page. I have checked the box for “enable” and selected a page in the drop-down, but it doesn’t redirect. What should I do?

I was wondering if it was possible to create a database within the wordpress mysql and then store the data in the tables that are created. I see the ability in the form to do a post but what would be required to make that work?

When I press “Create new” button, plugin redirects to

and it’s empty, just blank white page (page source is empty too).

I’m useing this great plugin in several websites and its working just fine. I dont know why problem accured this time. Tryed disabling other plugins, fesh install of wordpress, nothing helped.

The form only shows up in Google Chrome browsers. Otherwise, it shows up as Form not found. Also, the author’s website is down/empty.

Hi!

I’ve created a form (which was very easy!) and see 4 problems with it.
Most importantly, it doesn’t email anything when you press ‘submit’.

Then there are 3 smaller issues:
1. Above the area with the check boxes you can see the text is in capital letters, while all the other descriptions aren’t.
2. The gray part of the ‘name box’ is not wide enough
3. When you want to check a box you have to click it twice

is it possible to copy a form i have created to put on multiple pages to send to different emails with out having to recreate the form again.

basically i am trying to have a lead/registration form for each of our employees that will send the information to their separate emails.

Hello guys… I’m brand new to WordPress and I’m impressed with the simplicity and resources available. One thing that caught my attention and would like to explore some more is the option to post the form data to an URL or API… As a Java/Grails software engineer I see a great potential of posting the form data to my a web service I can easily create and store the data however I want and wherever I want. My question is what are the rules when posting to a URL? Lets say I have a form with Name, Phone, Address (3 fields), what is the format of the content that this plugin will send the data? is it JSON mime type? would it be something like:

do you guys have any documentation around this?

Hi folks, this looks like a great plugin, it’s the easiest to use that I’ve come across and seems to work pretty well.

There’s a few things I’d love to see improved though (and hopefully are in the pipeline, as I am aware it’s still in beta)

• Validation errors – 50 errors on one admittedly fairly complex form – seems to be putting closing ‘</p>’ tags after all my labels, some
• tags not being closed, among other things.
• Fieldsets – would love to have control over what’s in a fieldset and what the legend for the fieldset is, – it seems to create some, but not always where I expect/want them
• ‘Content sections’ – these seem a bit erratic in how they appear in the form. I put one at the beginning of my form, and it just put the text in with no ‘<p>’ tags or anything around it, but ones I put further down the form had ‘<p>’ tags around them, but these didn’t close until after the next field’s label (hence more validation errors).

Otherwise, great work, this is looking very promising.

wordpress forms seems like a really nice plugin easy to use and looks nice.
i was having a problem
clicking the submit button did not do anything
when i deactivated headspace
all the forms were able to send email

one problem remains
i can’t embed the form in a post using the wysiwyg button
the dialog comes out blank

this plugin has caused the image editor and media library not to work properly. For whatever reason, any time this plug in is active, we can’t modify images or use the media library. As soon as the plug-in is deactivated, those items both work properly.

I have published a form (I love the back end of this plugin, so nice).

I am getting this error when I try to visit the page:

what’s the deal? how do I fix this? Something to do with breadcrumbs not recognizing the form?

Like others I’ve been running in to the same issues the rest of you have, but with a little digging it’s not hard to figure out how this plugin works.

It actually works pretty well! Thanks to the person who suggested inserting a – before the first item in dropdown combos.

I thought I’d show folks what I’ve done with it so far and let you know that this website (and registration forms) is going live tomorrow 12/1/2010!

Eventually I’d like to hook this up to a database to capture the information, but for now we are sending emails to the people who need to know the info.

I have More Types installed to have custom post-types, and as soon as I install this plugin my permalinks to those posts stop working: e.g. /?dog=chihuahua works while /dog/chihuahua doesn’t anymore. The only fix is to click save on WP Permalinks page.
