I started getting a blank upload box, I think when I updated to WP 3.3.1. When I click the add Flickr item link, it brings up the thumbnails from Flickr, but Upload just shows a blank page.
I realised I was on an old version of the plugin – I was on 1.5 so I updated to the one in the SVN repo. But the problem is still there.
I had a look at the Firefox console for JavaScript errors, but there were none.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Thanks
Alex

When I try enable plugin I get this:

Is anyone else having this problem? Any ideas?

]]>Hi!
I have some problems with the plugin.
The Database is getting too big because of the cache (40mb now of 55 total). But when i try to change the cache to file System i have some errors.
I need to clean the database. Is the file system worse than the database cache option?
How can i fix it?
Thanks.

]]>Hi and thanks for a great plugin!
If I select Image Viewer: Disabled, thumbnails link to the flickr page of that photo. Is is possible to instead link directly to a jpg-file, ie the large size?
This would help a lot since I’m using another lightbox-plugin, with certain features that the built in Lightbox does not have. That plugin auto-detects image links.

]]>Hi Trent
Well thought I would post up some feedback for you on the revised plugin. For me v2.3 of the plugin was near perfect. The only things I would have liked to be able to do were:
a) Be able to toggle on and off whether there was a link back to Flickr
b) Add in a class to the image that would accompany each embedded post
In the end what I tended to do was add the images in and then edit the HTML to make it that way.
Unfortunately there’s no option in the latest version to not use shortcodes, so the upgrade is a backwards step and creates so much work or me that I might as well not use it at all.
Cheers
Cris
]]>Tried getting this to work across browsers, but upon inserting a shortcode, it outputs lines like this on the published post:
<img src=”https://farm.static.flickr.com//__t.jpg” alt=”” class=”flickr-large aligncenter” title=”” longdesc=”” />
Notice all the fields are missing and a generic flickr link is given instead. Ugh.
Thought this might have been a good solution, but I really needed a plugin that will sideload images from Flickr, not the other way around. Ah well.
]]>after update i can’t add single photo or set into the post. Also lightbox viewer doesn’t work.
]]>I’m getting several different browser errors on the new version of the plugin. Does Trent or anyone else have a work-around or fix?
IE9 – lightbox doesn’t work – when clicking a thumbnail, the full photo opens in a new blank page
Safari 4 – lightbox works, but no photo appears. An error message from flickr says “this photo is currently unavailable”
Firefox 4.0 – No issues.
Chrome – No issues.

]]>Hi Trent,
welcome back ??
I tried WFM 3 on a WP 3.1.2 and can say that the new upload system it’s really awesome, thanks a lot.
However there are some bugs with other functions that I will show in support forum as soon as bugzilla send me confirmation email.
Wordpress Flicker Manager could be a wonderful addition for WP, still no other plugins do what it does.

]]>Everything worked great until I hit “insert photo” and…the “view photo” page refreshed itself, but the photo did not insert into the post. :/
]]>This plugin installs fine, I’ve successfully connected it to my Flickr account, and I can browse through my Flickr photos from the pop up window in WP. However, it doesn’t insert photos into posts. When I click ‘Insert into Post’, nothing happens.
I also tried the hack described here: https://www.workflowfaq.com/wordpress-flickr-manager-changes-for-2-9
…but it doesn’t solve the problem (otoh, it also doesn’t break the plugin).
Seems to be a great plugin, so it would be nice to get it working.
