This plugin actually looked promising and although it has not been updated for a while, it works in WP 4.1
However, the recent FAQ-widget just points back to the FAQ-page and is not showing actual recent FAQ’s.

I am moving content from Google sites to WordPress and this made the FAQ migration a matter of cut and paste.

Normally I avoid anything coded in FL, but this plugin rocks. Gave me a way to manage FAQs quickly and even better gave my client a way to add new ones without fear of breaking them.

…if you have more than one FAQ category and want to separate them by category, for example:
Category Heading
FAQ
Category Heading
FAQ
Category Heading
FAQ
and so on…
It outputs each FAQ section as a div with an ID:
<div id="faq-block">FAQs</div>
It goes against standards to have multiple divs with the same ID on a page so it fails W3C validation. It’s easy enough to change it to a class in the plugin’s PHP, CSS and JS files, but since I’m really only using base functionality of the plugin, I don’t know what effect it may carry through some of the more advanced features.
It looks as if there are some navigation features that may be broken by doing this, but I don’t really have time to dig into it further right now.
Seriously, I don’t know what the cross section of people that care about this kind of thing vs. people that don’t is around WP, and some may call this nit-picking, but I do care for any sites that I build. I figure others may care as well.

So far its best among other FAQ plugins. Just need some more support in defining the layout.

The plugin is very well done. Clean, easy to use, and uses WP the way it’s supposed to be used.
Great job!

Dude consistently knocks it out of the park with his Twitter posts and, more importantly, his plugins.
FAQ Manager Plugin just works the way you want it to work when you use it. Sounds simple right? Its not.
And this plugin is free. Crazy, gotta love WordPress and the talented community supporting it for us noobs.

Thanks for this excellent plugin. It’s easy to use and configure, it looks really nice, let us choose the title format and the display. Really great.

Just tried out this plugin on 3.5 beta 2. It works just as it’s intended to do so. For those of us who are good with code, you can easily extend this plugin and customize it to your pleasure.
For example, I created an advanced search for my FAQs section so when the user lands on the FAQs page… they can easily search. The page would also list the most popular FAQs.
Great job Andrew.
