I had it set up and making backups for weeks. Life seemed good. Then I tried to actually use the backups that I manually downloaded from the settings page and found after I reinstalled WP and needed to restore from these backups, that it wasn’t backing everything up for some unknown reason. For instance, I downloaded a backup (zip file) of all plugins, only to find out later that only half of my plugins were included in this backup. WTF? I’d rather get an error message warning me that all my plugins weren’t included in the backup rather than open the zip file later only to find that half were omitted with no explanation. Also, even for the plugins that were saved and restored, all custom settings were lost back to default (although BTE never claimed that it would restore the settings too, just that the plugins themselves would be restored).
]]>I tried to install this plugin.
The minute I did, I got this error message and could NOT even load WP-ADMIN:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in …./wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 1059.
Was in a panic, until I followed the advice on this excellent page:
https://www.zoofusion.com.au/studio537/wordpress/quickfix-fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-wp_get_current_user
I installeds the plugin and my site went bye bye
]]>The installation proccess runs ok, but once you ask to activate the pluggin nothing runs – blank screen-
Too bad
when attempting to backup for the first time, I’m redirected, automatically, to my homepage without successful backup. Nothing happens other than that.
]]>When I activate this plugin, it prevents my site from loading completely. All I get is a blank screen!
Hope this can be fixed as is a useful plugin.
If you install this Plugin it will disable your blog. The solution is to use your server backend access to delete this plugin from the plugins directory. The blog should return to normal after this plugin is deleted.
]]>v 1.6.6
per my host who looked at ftp logs and other records says 80% probability my site was hacked (defaced) due to an exploit of this plugin.
