Is not working, after I click on the button to start the update nothing happened.

During the upgrade to 3.1 the upgrade process reached the point when new WP was downloaded and the installation started. The process did not complete, and the following error was shown:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Walker_Page in [wp install dir]/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 1062

After this WP was left nonoperational. I will now try to restore from the donwloaded ZIP file.

The server is a shared hosting server at GoDaddy, running Linux OS.

I’m updating from 3.0.1 to 3.0.4. After completing the backups and the WP upgrade, the stage at which the plugins get reactivated is broken.

wp-admin/index.php brings up:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_option() in /hsphere/local/home/…/wp-admin/admin.php on line 22

wp-admin/plugins.php brings up:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /hsphere/local/home/…/wp-admin/plugins.php on line 210

I have restored from the backups and upgraded using WP’s built-in update module.

I tried upgrading my WordPress to the latest version using WAUP but while in the process of upgrading, it stopped (I think during the reactivation of the plugins, not sure). I tried accessing my site https://www.magnustoday.net and it’s inaccessible. I tried deleting index.php and changing the index.php.wpau.bak to index.php but i still can’t access it.

Can anyone help?

When trying to upgrade I get the following in the logs:

My wordpress is hosted at 1and1 and the upgrade has worked every time since ?? Please help
