This might suspend all access to your site, and can only be corrected by editing the .htaccess file directly, through FTP or other means.
Be warned.

Was hoping to allow facebook and other social platforms to use my images with this plugin but as I enabled the plugin on my site, it re-wrote my htaccess file crippling my sites. I immediately got a 500 server error and it took my other site down as well that’s on the same multi-site install even though I enabled the plugin on only one of the two sites.
Do yourself a favor before you try this on your install and backup your htaccess file and be logged into your ftp so you can quickly swap back to your backup htaccess file if this does not work on your install.
The developer definitely still needs to do some work on this.

I think there’s an error.
If your installation is in another directory, the htaccess created is not in the right folder.

Hi,
I have been trying different methods for disabling hot link:
1- Cpanel hotlink protection: Big crash and you have to restore the original .htaccess file to make your site run again.
2- Writing a code in Bulletproof Security Pro. Still nothing
3- So here was to give this plugin a try: Nothing gets protected.
This is what I have tried to test:
Opened the site that I have installed and activated this plugin on.
Then press CTRL+U and I see the source on the site.
Then found the source of an image on my site (wp-content/upload)and paste it in the browser.
An image in full ress without any protection.
I have even cleared my sites server cache + browser cache before making the test.
I am also running the latest version of WordPress at this moment: 3.6.1
