Hello,
the FB page format has changed recently, and since that happened wordbooker has stopped posting my wp posts to my FB page.
Wordbooker is no longer being actively supported or developed. This is partially down to the complete change in the Facebook API which requires a rewrite of a large part of the code base of Wordbooker plus the removal of several options that Wordbooker actively uses.
I recommend you find another Facebook related plugin.
The Wordbook authorisation handshake server will be shutdown at the end of May and the API codes changed.

]]>I stumbled across this. Great concept… and I’ll see how it works.
****K, just tried it. Who knows what I did wrong. BUT.. it did post to my page… automatically (just not to my personal page both.) But, I’ll either figure it out… or I have a different plug in that will connect to my personal fb page. Thanks for this plug-in… it posts to my page. Blessings!

This was not the single thumbnail I wanted on Facebook- how do I change it on Facebook? I tried moving wanted photo to top of post- then UPDATING after checking the Publish this Post to Facebook. But the unwanted original photo remains.
]]>I am experiencing a strange innodb mysql crash right after using WB. It renders the site unusable and redirects to the WP install page. I end up having to have the host restore that innodb from backup.
Because it’s a server level problem, I am not sure about troubleshooting.
Does WB even use innodb or could it cause that db to crash?

]]>Hello,
I have a problem.
I am using a plugin called RSS Multi Importer to import some RSS feeds into my blog as posts, and Wordbooker to publish all the posts to my FB page. My problem is that whenever multiple posts are created at the same time usually only one of them is posted to my FB page by Wordbooker.
Any idea how to fix this?
Thank you for your time.
]]>Steve, I have the latest version of WOrdbooker that seemed to be working well until a few months ago. The posts show up on Facebook but the comments are not pulled back into the post. Can you please help me?
I can send you the passwords in a separate email.
Thank You
Bev
I’d like to publish the entire article to facebook. Using “Post as Note” and “Use Post Excerpt as Post Attribute” shows a link to a note with the article, but I want the complete post directly as status update – how can I configurate so? The normal configuration displays just an excerpt and a link.
]]>Wordbooker seems to pull comments from Facebook for the first several runs then stops completely. Any ideas? Using WB 2.2.1 on FB 3.81.
I do not republish or update or make any changes, it just seems to stop. Also, when I do a forced a manual comment handling, nothing happens.
Log is of little value to me as I cannot figure it out. No errors appear to be logged. These are the last few entires however:

Everest 2014: Altitude Tents, More O’s – Acclimatization is Changing 2014-02-24 09:50:54 Calling wordbooker_fbclient_publishaction
For some reason Wordbooker is not pulling fb page data. I can see in the logs that it is pinging them, but it is not populating anything except the group. These leaves only the group as an option and I can not access any of my pages to post to. Everything seems to be set up right and talking to FB it just can’t seem to retrieve the page data.
Any help you can offer to resolve this would be great. I love this plugin!

]]>I am using Wordbooker 2.2.1 with a self written theme.
The search page of my theme displays an error if no search result is found, because wordbooker tries to access the global $post object. But it is no object, because no post was found.
This is done in the ‘wordbooker_header’ function in line 363:
if ('publish' != get_post_status($post->ID)) {return;}
I changed this line, that it first checks if the object really exists to avoid that error and to exit the function immediatly.
if (!is_object($post) || 'publish' != get_post_status($post->ID)) {return;}
I think it makes sense, that you apply this change to the main line of the code, because others might have this problem also.
]]>Hello,
Firstly i am a big fan of this plugin. Extremely useful and very professional. Definitely the best one available.
It works perfectly, except when I try to post “as a link”. I do this so that the “thumbnail” that appears is fullsize/larger.
When I post as a link, it works about 10% of the time.. so it doesn’t fail ALL the time.
I read the user guide and I realize this probably has something to do with Open Graph.
Unfortunately, I am an idiot. I don’t know how to fix this at all.
I had a plugin that did Facebook Open Graphs, and it doesn’t seem to work whether that plugin is disabled or not.
Thanks

Hello.
My problem is “The thumbnail will not come to my shop page wall.”
Its meaning is not “There is not a image section.”
There is a image tag on my wall, and its source url returns “404 Not Found”.
The img tag on facebook wall is like this…
<img class=”shareMediaPhoto fbStoryAttachmentImage img” src=”https://fbstatic-a.akamaihd.net/rsrc.php/v2/y4/r/-PAXP-deijE.gif” alt=”” style=”background-image: url(https://fbexternal-a.akamaihd.net/app_full_proxy.php?app=254577506873&v=1&size=z&cksum=57fb4cb713895a11d30aa4027c859e82&src=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.example.com%2Fwp%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F02%2F01.jpg);”>
Comment, Title, and the others are going well(they are correctly included in the wall post).
In addition, if I post manually the wordpress post url, the image will display correctly on the wall,
How can I resolve this?

Hi Steve,
On posting to Facebook, my post caption (the blog description) was being truncated at 50 characters followed by some periods (…). Coincident to updating to v2.2.0 I’ve noticed that the caption is no longer being truncated. I have a long blog description and it overwhelms the space available, leaving no room for the excerpt. Is this a change in Wordbooker or in Facebook?

Hey Steve,
Been a long time! I’ve been away from blogging a bit and just got back in the game with my personal blog, TonyZeoli.com.
I’ve installed Jet Pack with Social and I have Open Graph +, which tells me to turn off Wordbooker’s Open Graph setting.
I’m having an issue that I can’t quite figure out. Running the latest version of WordPress on a multisite install with the primary site being netmix.co.
Here’s the post in question:
https://www.facebook.com/tonyzeoli/posts/10102596222635829?comment_id=290863412&offset=0&total_comments=5¬if_t=share_comment
It’s showing on the blog that I have 11 comments. I see in the WordPress comments table all 11 comments, some of which are my replies.
But I’m not seeing them on the site.
Here’s the App ID I have loaded into the Comments table: 63063631576

Sorry, but I am unable to register in the support forums (perhaps I’m just too stupid, but the Facebook Connect button doesn’t work and I also don’t want to connect with Facebook) and there was no e-mail address to contact you. So I’ll post my problem here:
I set up the latest Wordbooker version with the newest WordPress and was not able to wordbook out Facebook site, it always gives me “(#803) Some of the aliases you requested do not exist: xxxxxxxxxx”
I fiddled a bit with that issue and found out that my id was not xxxxxxxxxx (10 characters) but yyyyyyyyyyyyyyy (15 characters, completely different). So I set facebook_id from wordbooker_userdata (the database table) to yyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and now it works (except that it still throws “Authorisation Process – Unable to get information – (#3) Unknown method “).
It would be cool if you could solve this problem completely.

Pls. Help for This…. THX
]]>I am wondering if the plugin will all one to pose to a closed group, and also if it will similarly sync up the comments on those group posts
]]>Hi–great plugin, considering all it does. I’ve been running tests back and forth between it and the Add Link to Facebook plugin, and one of the main cons showing up with wordbooker is that the comments being imported from facebook are showing up on my site as me–the admin (though it doesn’t also use my gravitar…so, weird…). Add link to Facebook, on the other hand, shows the correct username.
I’ve been overhauling my comments management in the interest of relaunching my site with a long awaited post, and after lots of delays, I’m leaning towards ‘add link’ for now…though i like some of the other features you have in wordbooker.
Any chance this incorrect labeling of commenters is an easy fix?
I am using Wordbooker: 2.2.0
Thanks!
