I inherited a website which had the WP All Import plugin and the Woocommerce Import Add-On with all setup and a cron job running for importing products from an XML. Everything was running smoothly!
The problem was that the owner wanted also to import the product weight. I tried writing a function and I also tried to get this value from the XML using drag and drop. But his didn’t work
I searched the web for about a week, I tried the documentation and I even posted at the stackoverflow but no one could answer my question.
I finally wrote to support and within 5 minutes I got a reply !
The solution was to use the XPath Cheat Sheet and it worked like a charm!

Using the plugin for almost 4 years – one of our best purchases ever. Helps us maintain thousands daily changes in Woocommerce stock and inventory. Requires learning and a bit of work to construct your imports – then the plugin saves you lot of time and work, every day.
Requires understanding of databases and (in our case) php, but to do the job you have to know what’s the job ??

Sometimes things change. Hosting can set unexpected limits, xml providers change image sources etc… In this case import fails for some reason, which is not plugin author’s fault. However this plugin author is willing to help anyway in 24 hours and point you in a direction to solve our own issues.
