Apologies in advance: this should by easy to fix, but as I don’t know the correct terminology I am having trouble simply Googling the answer.
I am using table rates, and currently the customer can choose between Regular and Express postage. All works well. I’d like to be able to offer the customer the choice to also have optional “Signature on Delivery” at a fixed cost, regardless of the postage rate. I envisage that it would be basically a radio button that the customer can toggle on or off. How do I go about this?
Hi,
After the recent WordPress update yesterday I get a Unexpected server error whenever I try and load the table rates portion of the plugin, it also seems to have a problem performing the address verification portion of the plugin, anything that attempts to reach out to outside services.
Thanks,
Tim

How do i get only the highest cost of shipping classes to be costed?
]]>Hi,
I use for Germany the weight table rates and for the German islands with zip codes the same rates AND a fixed island cost. How would you handle this?
I thought about creating the shipping zones Germany and Germany islands with the zip codes. And in Germany islands I would import the previously exported Germany shipping rates and edit it with the additional island costs. Is this feasible?
And a general question:
Does the plugin use the zip code table rates for the islands and not the Germany table rates? Because both are for Germany?
I hope you have time for the answer. Thanks a lot for this.

Is there any way of achieving this on the plugin?
I know I can add postcode but is there an easier way?

I select ‘Add New’ from the Shipping Zone tab, select ‘countries/states’ under ‘type, select one of my countries in the ‘countries’ box and then save. I get both a ‘saved successfuly’ message and “Sorry, a zone with the given ID could not be found.”

]]>Hi,
First of all, sorry for my bad english, I’ll try to explain as best as I can.
I’ve created a default value of shipping rates (20$), and differents rates for some postal codes. The problem is that the default value is offered even if it supposed to have another price for this particular postal code.
Ex.:
Default shipping price is 20$.
Every postal code starting with G2G should be 10$.
But the shipping price offers me radio buttons with this two amounts (20$ or 10$), it should only be 10$ and not offering the 20$ option.
I’ve tried to put all my postal codes with a particular price in the “except”, same problem.
What am I doing wrong ?
Thanks for your help !

]]>Hi,
First of all, sorry for my bad english, I’ll try to explain as best as I can.
In the cart, there is a button to refresh the rate of the shipping from the postal code, it works just fine.
The problem is in the next step (checkout), if we change the postal code here, the shipping fee don’t refresh, there is no button to refresh and it doesn’t refresh automatically. I’ve tried changing the postal code in the billing address and in the shipping address, same problem.
You can see the problem here:
https://www.fleuriste-quebec.com
You can test with this postal codes:
G2G 2M0 should be 10$
K0K 0K0 should be 20$

Now however I would like to have a rural option so the customer can choose shipping zone1 or shipping zone1 Rural. All I want the rural option to do is add $10 to the price.
I was hoping there was a way to add a checkbox on the cart page that if checked it adds a flat amount to the current shipping cost.
If anybody knows a way to achieve this it would be greatly appreciated.
