Hello! My problem concerns the WooCommerce ‘Sale’ badge. It works well but I wish to exlude it on some products.

This badge is visible on ALL products that currently are on sale automatically. Does anyone know if it is possible to exclude this badge on one particular product (due to aestetic reasons) but leave it visible on others?

I’ve just updated my site to WP 4.7 running the latest WooCommerce 2.6.11 and the styling for the “SAVE ￡x.xx!” badge is no longer working. If I deactivate the Smart Sale Badge plugin it returns to the correctly formatted “SALE!” badge and I can see some significant differences in the styling code. It looks like a WooCommerce update has broken your Smart Sale Badge plugin. Are you able to take a look/help? Thank you.

I don’t know exactly when, but the plugin stopped working. Now only the ‘normal’ sale badge is showing.
I deactivated and deleted the plugin and installed and activated it again, but no change.

Please can you assist, i’ve read your sticky topic ‘please read’ I understand a theme conflict could stop the plugin from displaying.

The issue I’m having is it displays incorrectly with my said theme, you can see it here, https://www.imsclients.co.za/mattressg/promotions/

But if i make the theme the default theme it displays, so it’s not the wordpress version

I have noticed that the majority of support questions for this plugin are saying that the sale badge does not display at all after activating the plugin. Please note that this has nothing to do with this plugin.

All this plugin does is modify the text on the existing sale badge that WooCommerce generates itself. This plugins does not create the sale badge, nor does it add any styling to the badge. If your sale badge is not displaying then it is an issue with WooCommerce or your theme and has absolutely nothing to do with this plugin.

I am using the plugin. Works awesome. But, I just added the Woo Composite Products extension and while I still get the badge I do not get the price anymore. I suspect the Composite Products use a different code for the price. Will you upgrade the plugin to suit?

Our website was originally started by a web design team, and I believe our theme may be custom, the author is “Anonymous”. what could be the problem here, an aside from revamping our store with a new theme, is there a way I can get this to work?

We have msrp price as a “regular price” and then our price for most of the products. If something is for sale, then we use sale price. But I do not want to show 3 different prices, only msrp and sale. Is there a mod etc. to make so that this plugin would calculate the discount from msrp to sale price?

Dear developers and happy users of the smart sale plugin!
I was asking myself if it would be possible to change the round sale-button in the corner to a star. for my page it would look great, but I′m not sure about the css-coding. looked it up how to make a star but it didn′t work out the way I wanted it to be.

It would be great to choose between the shapes – maybe star, sun or corner-something…

Hi.

I changed the code, so that the text “Save up to” is only shown if the amount from child products is different. I’m not sure if this is the best way, but it works (until yet only local, so I have got no link for a demo site). Maybe you can add this to the plugin even if you have said that you don’t want to add new features.

Code changes in classes/class-woocommerce-smart-sale-badge.php:

1. Search for:
$saving_amount = 0;

Add after, in new line:
$min_saving_amount = 999999999;

2. Search for:
$saving_amount = $new_saving_amount;

Add after, in new line:

}
if( $new_saving_amount < $min_saving_amount ) {
$min_saving_amount = $new_saving_amount;

3. Search for:
$button_text = __( ‘Save up to’, ‘wc_smart_sale_badge’ );

Change to:

if( $saving_amount != $min_saving_amount ) {
$button_text = __( 'Save up to', 'wc_smart_sale_badge' );
} else {
$button_text = __( 'Save', 'wc_smart_sale_badge' );
}

I have a grouped subscription product with woo commerce. I have 3 different options (monthly, 3 months, and 6 month plans) the 3 and 6 months prices are sales and so it is showing 2 badges and looks kinda funny.
