Unfortunately the plugin doesn’t work properly.
It incremetns the excessive “1” to the order number when payment gateway is invoked.
As result the order number in woocommerce and order number in payment system became different. It’s difficult to identify buyer’s payment if buyer pays by creditcard.

Simple plugin and does the job.

I just want to know why are you guys taking so long to resolve the issues? We brought 3 plugins from you the past 4 years. This is the second plugin we are still using and having issues.

Love this plugin, It has worked really well and been very reliable for the last few years, up until I updated word press to V4.6.1 November 15th 2016 and woo-commerce to version 2.6.8
After this, new orders failed and customers were unable to check out. The error message customers got on screen after pressing Place order then checkout buttons was: (Oops something went wrong! We’re probably doing scheduled maintenance) After hours of testing and process of elimination and retesting each time. It came down to everything worked until I activated this plugin (WooCommerce Sequential Order Numbers) by Skyverge. The weird thing is that it didn’t make sense, however, what did make sense a was that I also had the same plugin installed on 3 other clients websites and I did the same updates in the same evening. Those sites also had the same error the following morning on the 16th Nov. error: (Oops something went wrong! We’re probably doing scheduled maintenance) After disabling and deleting the (WooCommerce Sequential Order Numbers) plugin on those sites too, no further checkout problems occurred. Apart from this little glitch what ever it is. I love this plugin, It has been really great for a few years. I’m sure this will be figured out and resolved soon so it can be reinstalled. The developer is very helpful so I hear and has some great articles on his blog. Edited to add: The payment processor on all three sites with the same issue is PayPal Standard as is installed with woo commerce. No other payment gateways or processors were active or being used. Hope this helps figure things out.

I’m using Woocommerce V 2.4.10.
Well it’s good , but not good enough to change the order ID in databases , it just work on order woocommerce dashboard.
If you can fix this , I’ll give more star ??

This was installed on a WordPress instance for a client – started taking orders and it was replacing existing posts (the home page!!!) with the new order records. Should have used a separate table with an FK back to the actual post.
Whoever wrote this plugin is either new to programming or has been the subject of a botched lobotomy – either way they probably step away from the keyboard.

Effective plugin.

At first it does what it suppose to do. The ordernumbers in woocommerce are now sequential.
BUT.
the internal numbers for orders which are used for transaction and other internal woocommerce things are now not the same as the ordernumbers.
example: your ordernumber 525 is now sequential. You have to look for the transaction which was usually the same as the ordernumber is now 530.
Now you have to decide between 2 numbers for one order. 525 as ordernumber and 525 as internal number which is woocommerce using.
The internal number for orders of woocommerce is still the old nummeration

I’m a touch OCD, so I need the sequential order numbers. Some site’s I’ve built don’t use this plugin and I’ll admit it’s sort of cool to have that ‘faux’ volume look to your order numbers, but for my own personal shop, I need, NEED, to see those numbers growing accurately and sequentially.
Plugin works perfectly.

Works well but need to change the themes.
As theme used has its own plugin.
Previously lead to 404 Not Found page
after checkout.
Once change theme,
it works well.
Good job ^_^

When I did it my self I noticed that with this plugin turned on I get checkout errors. At the PayPal check out all my orders get scrambled with Wrong Prices, Wrong SKUs, Wrong Colors. This only happens when Mobile on tablets or phones. For example I have an item that goes for $89.98 but when it comes to paying it shows up as $24.98 with the wrong item name. Even Woo-Commerce says its incorrect and invalid order. I well never use this again!! Lost customers from this crap.

Works & integrates seamlessly (using WooCommerce 2.0)

WooCommerce ordernumber is sequential, The ordernummber, whois sent to ideal provider, is not the same as used in WooCommerce. The ordernumber relationship between WooCommerce and Ideal is gone.
