Hi everyone!I have installed this plugin and it works perfectly with some products, but with other product it appears the checkbox duplicated.
After investigating what is the difference between the products I have realize that the plugin works perfectly when the product is defined as simple product but when the product is a variable product, the checkbox appears duplicated.
Can you help me with this? I don′t know if I have to do further configuration.

Since this plugins is not updated for more than 5 years and it’s probably not even compatible with WooCommerce 3.0+, here’s an alternative:

Hi,
on the front-end, the plugin is showing the message and the price, but when a customer adds an item to the cart, there isn’t a visible note on the cart, checkout or e-mail. It doesn’t even add a price of wrapping to totals.
Tried debugging it and it said to replace woocommerce_price with wc_price and woocommerce_get_template with wc_get_template. After doing this I’ve had the same problem on front-end.
Please help us out.

I’m not managing to put a gift package price is it ‘ broken ‘ . For example, the plugin correctly calculates the amount when I put 1.00, but if I put 1.50, it adds up the value of only 1.00 material, excluding 50 cents. This only occurs by wrapping button that is on the products. The wrap option that is in the basket section calculates normally. If I upgrade to the latest version of the plugin this problem is solved or I ‘m forgetting some important setting ? Help me please. I’m Brazilian , I’m sorry if my english is bad.

]]>when using WPML I translate the 2 items involved in the default gift wrap message which are “Gift wrap this item for %s?” and “free”
These combine to make the message in English on the front end next to the checkbox “Gift wrap this item for free?”
But when I look at the French version of the site although both are translated I only get “free” translated…

I am having a major problem with this plugin as it adds directly on to the price of the product and if i have a discount on the product, the discount is also taken of the gift wrapping. Can you please add to the plugin the option of adding the gift wrapping as a separate product which the discount is not included in as the gift wrapping is supposed to be a stand alone service.

I have only virtual products on my site, which sells vanity email addresses. You can order [email protected] and set a forwarding email.
I would like customers to be able to check a box that says ‘this is a gift’. They would then enter another email address, a send date and a note. On the set date, an email would go to the forwarding email address saying they received this vanity email as a gift. The additional email would be where the receipt is sent.
Now I found this page on woothemes where the replier says this plugin has ‘send to a friend’ functionality. I installed it, though, and I don’t see this. How can I make this happen?

Would it be possible to add an icon to the WooCommerce order overview screen, indicating that a customer would like his/hers order wrapped?
Right now it’s easy to miss for us – with our current workflow – since we rarely go into each order.

I am having a bit of a problem with this plugin. The problem is that, if i have bulk discount on a product and i have this option of gift wrapping and people click it, it of course multiplies the cost for every product that needs gift wrapping but it also includes the discount on the gift wrapping which i do not want, the cost of gift wrapping should be separate and only the products get the bulk discount, is there a possibility to fix that?

]]>When our orders are gift wrapped we put them in a box which adds a lot of weight compared to the normal orders.
Is there a way (Even if i’d need to hack the plugin) to tell it to add 250g to the order weight if there is giftwrapped items?

]]>Great plugin, useful to be able to offer gift wrapping.
Two things that a few others have commented on and that I think would make this an even better plugin:
1. Showing the gift wrapping price separate from product price, as it is a bit unclear now.
2. Ability to cancel gift wrapping for a product in the basket, rather than having to remove the product itself.
