is this plugin under active development. The last activities are some times ago.
I have some problems with duplicate categories after the import. I know the problem and the solution.
So it would be nice, if the developer would contact me.

]]>I tried lots of times to import from osCommerce with this plugin, but it has imported only some images.
I exported osCommerce database and imported it in my WordPress database because the connection didn’t work.
Now when I start importation it shows this message:
“Starting…(If the page stops loading or shows a timeout error, then just refresh the page and the importer will continue where it left off. If you are using a shared server and are importing a lot of products you may need to refresh several times)”
It doesn’t refresh, when I refresh I see no products.
I hope someone can help me, I’m wasting a lot of time with this.

I can choose a custom date and that looks to be working just fine. But the default screen shows 0 sales and orders. Same for the year, last month, this month and last 7 days tabs when I click on them. Same for dashboard.
Not a huge deal, just an oddity.

has anyone had this issue and fixed it ?
orders and customers were not imported either, but I can live without those.
any help appreciated

]]>I loved the idea of this plugin but it’s been a major event. Been working on this for like 2 weeks.
I’ve been able to load the products (after tweaking the code a few times) and I finally was able to load the customers only after deleting customers from the DB as they where added. This plugin won’t do over 16k customers.
But now, I can not get the orders to load, not one. Even checked the new DB, there is not one order imported.
I’ve tried it online with a VPS and over 6 gig memory. Also tried it locally with Wamp and I set the execution time set high.
I even tried trimming down the DB, over 46k orders. I’ve knocked it down to 5k and still nothing. I’ve tried running it over and over. Nothing.
I just keep getting the error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes)
On a local machine with Wamp.
What could be wrong? How can I find out what is wrong? All I have left is importing the orders. This is quite frustrating.
Any one have any thoughts?
From what I see, no one else has really had trouble with orders. So I don’t get it.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I am about to give up on this. Can’t waste any more time on it.

]]>This is a great program for us osCommerce converts!!
Doing the import of Categories/Products, the program runs for awhile and then displays this message:
Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/rst/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-oscommerce-import/woocommerce-osc-import.php on line 89 — add_woocommerce_term_meta($term[‘term_id’], ‘order’,$category[‘sort_order’]);
To troubleshoot, I modified the program to display each category as it is processed, and ran across a few that had no products associated with them, which produced the above error. I would delete the category, and was able to continue until another instance was found. Finally, I got an out of memory error so I removed the display and now get the above error message again.
I have about 3,000 categories/sub-categories and 90,000 products.

]]>Hey Dave,
I was just wondering if there is a log created for what was imported when finished. If not I HIGHLY recommend adding that on. I ask because after importing products/categories a lot of things are added that I want to organize into the categories that I already had before the import. Going through the list of the before and after is going to be quite time consuming. I might see if I can pull some SQL tricks using the database fields to figure what’s new/added. You might want to consider making the categories/products imports exclusive. Thanks in advance. I am just curious with a few suggestions and VERY thankful you made a nice plugin like this.

Product attributes and variations can be seen in the back end ‘edit product’ and in the front end as selectable. The variation prices did not import correctly though, not did the images, which I didn’t really expect to as I had used PAPS (Product Attribute Pictures) in my osCommerce store which stores the images in the Paps folder.
To fix the attribute prices I installed ‘Woocommerce Bulk Edit Product Variations & Prices’ I then noticed that the attributes_taxonomies table is empty. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
