The plugin doesnt work… and i tried everything. New customers and users can register but they dont get the verification email at all.

Hi,

I’m trying to stop spammers from being listed as members/users as soon as they provide their email address on the My Account page.

Is there a way your plugin can prevent WooCommerce from creating a new membership before a new user has verified his account with a password?

I’m getting spam members regularly even though they have not generated a password.

I purchased the WooCommerce Email Verification Pro (ver 1.3). It doesn’t automatically assign customers orders once they have verified their account. When I delete unverified users it refreshes the page but the users are still listed. I have 100’s of unverified accounts. How can I clear this long list?

Works very well, if user is opening his account from the Login/Register page.
If unregistered user comes from cart page with some items in the cart and wants to checkout now and clicks the add account button within the checkout page account verification mail is sent correctly, order is in the admin panel correctly, after resend verification mail account is built correctly, but the order is missing in the customer account.

Hello!

We have downloaded “WooCommerce Email Verification” plugin. This plugin is sending an email to user with activation link. But after registering, a message should be displayed to the user saying “An email has been sent to your email to activate your account”. It is not showing any message. Unless the message is displayed, the user cannot know to activate their account.

Let us know how to display this message.

During the checkout the user can fill the address fields, and check the Register user checkbox in order to process the order and also get registered.

Your plugin works fine, and a email is sent to the user to verify the email and activate the account.
But when the user clicks on the link and finally activates his account, the address information filled during the checkout is not visible in the user account. He needs to fill again the information.

Is this a pro feature?

The activation link doesn’t Work, shows 404 error when trying to activate.

Also when registering no message is displayed, this can be kind of weird to the user.

I am using WP4.0 and WC 2.2.4 and most of the plugin works great! It sends emails and going to the activate page works. However the unverified accounts page doesn’t show up anywhere in the admin.

Also is it possible to change the plugin (or add an option) to use the email address as the auto created login?

i have just installed this plugin but after i tried registering a new user, it did actually send the email verification but then, i clicked the link and i got “the page you requested cannot be found” instead of the authentication of the email.
please, what am i missing?

I have an issue with Woocommerce Customers registration.

The users would register, receive an activation link and activate the account with the success notification. After that the users cannot login (“Error: no such user email”).

In the admin part there is a tab with Customers, and it has a correct count of those customers registered. But when you click it, it’s empty. Although, the administrators and shop managers roles are displayed normally.

The data about the customers seems to be fully stored in wp_usermeta db table. But the wp_users table only contains the administrators.

Can you please give a hint how those registered customers can be made visible to admin and also how to enable them finally login with all the details that they already entered previously.

I installed the plugin, and disabled all others to test this error and nothing is working. It just refreshes and shows no error, does not give the confirmation message or register the new user.

Hello.

Works well except it doesnt register user id or details for new orders. When I click on an order I see guest..not user details.

Does this work on premium version?

1) It takes about 15 seconds after I press Register button. Then I see message ‘Confirmation link was sent…’. But there is no mail in box.
2) During register process I see in WP->Users this user appear. But after I receive success message this user is removed.

Checked with Chrome, IE. Receive success message and no confirm.link.
In Firefox don’t get success message. Just redirected to My Account page again.

The email sent to the admin email, informing of when a new member signs up, contains blank details.

Any ideas why?

Uses to be set (as ACTIVE), but this plugin isn’t apply them any value at all? They are blank. Also, is it possible to manually toggle (enable/disable) the accounts from here?

Hi guys,
First of all – great plugin! My problem now is that after registration attempt the screen saying something like “a confirmation email has been send to your email address” does not appear anymore. This happened after I upgraded to Woocommerce 3.9.1. I am running the latest version (2.3.1) of the plugin, WP 3.8.3 switched to Dutch and the Woothemes Sentient theme.
The plugin still send email notifications, but instead of showing the “email has been sent” screen it just reloads the my account page which is very confusing for the users – there is no way of knowing what just happened.

I’m trying your plugin on a multisite WP (with subdirectories, not subdomains), and WC 2.1.7.
I get a 404 error , after the confirmation of the account, when I want to log-in, because it is looking for a page with URL “domain/subsite/my-account/” which does not exist on my sistem.
If I manually select the correct page in the main menu, I can log-in, so the registration process is working.
Why does the plugin look for a wrong account page URL?

Hello,

I was assisting a user with trying to figure out why the email notification links were resulting in 404 errors. I checked your plugin code and noticed that you are hard coding the table names. More importantly you are assuming that someone has not changed their WP Table prefix and are using the default wp_ DB table prefix.

This is very simple to correct.

Hi all,

Email doesn’t show the verification link and you got automatically logged on.

My expectation was, that I get an email with the verification link.

Also when I activate the password creation. Onlyy the Mail with the paasword is send and not the email with the verification link before.

If this works I think about to buy the premium version.

Any solution in the community or from the developer?

Hello,

Recently installed this plugin on the latest WP and WC versions.

However nothing appears to work properly.

-New users after signing in are redirected to the my-account page.
-No email is sent to the user with a verification link.

I have tried with all plugins deactivated.

Not sure if this is an update issue.
