There is only a hyperlink showing for the Compare This function.
How do I make the button appear instead of the hyperlink?

I really liked this comparison plugin because in it I can have a separate list of attributes for each category. It is very comfortable.

But there’s a problem.

When developing the site, I use the Elementor-pro plugin. It has a section: “Theme editor”. There I can customize the appearance of the product catalog or product page.

The problem is that if on the site I create a catalog page in the elementor using the “theme editor” – then the compare button from the plugin does not appear in the catalog. The same is true for the product page.
BUT – other plugins display the button correctly when using “elementor” and its “theme editor”

So this plugin is not compatible with elementor?

If it is possible to fix it somehow – please write how. I would be glad. Because I have not found another plugin with the same functionality. Thanks in advance)

Hello, thank you for the plugin, Compare Products for WooCommerce! Conflict with the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin, images are not displayed on the product comparison page. Received a response from the author of the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin…
It appears the product comparison page does not include our JavaScript code, likely because it does not run the wp_head action.
Please check with the Compare Products (a3rev) support folks to see what they recommend to get our JS included on that page.

i have a Dokan plugin on my web so i want to show the defualt compared prices from each single product that vendors added to my store on the home page. is it possible?

Dashboard – Products – Attributes – Attribute Comparison Data – Attribute and Terms Compare data input type (?)

The pop-up box when hovering over the (?) question mark, says –

“Use these fields to determine how this Attribute with display its compare data. Text input fields are for adding custom compare data and ignore the Attribute Terms or set to show the Attributes Terms as single or multi select Compare data options that are quick and easy to set for each product.”

1) Typo “with” – “will”?

2) Not clear as to whether this is used for display of the compare data, or for data entry. ‘set’, ‘input’, ‘display’, ‘show’ in the same sentence all related to this field, make it difficult to determine whether this sentence about the field is related to input, or display, or both, or and input to control the form of display.

3) “adding custom compare data” – adding by whom? – the data enterer (admin), or the customer at time of doing a search?

4) “or set to show” – ‘what’ is set, or set ‘what’, by implication is probably “Text input fields”, but could be ‘attributes’ in general, or possibly ‘single or multi select’. Use of a specific object for this verb will help avoid confusion.

5) 39 words and no commas – could be cause for confusion

This is a smaller part of the whole plugin, so maybe not so important.
But you may be able to improve the clarity and ease of being understood of this popup.
Probably better to have larger more explanatory pop-up, that can be understood, than to have a brief pop-up that takes up less space, but causes confusion.

Hi I would like to know if this plugin allow to save the comparison table with a link? I mean if I set a comparison table with some specific products, if I copy can I access to the same table later? thank you

I’ve got the LITE version of WooCommerce Compare Products… and have added WPML plugin to translate our entire website. I’ve successfully translated all content and products – but cannot get the compare plugin to work. Within the product, I can select a compare category but I am not able to add features.

Right now its like only from different parent category can not compare but i want some thing for sub category as well.

I was going to post a question here, but someone already asked the same question many months ago, and it has been marked as “[Resolved]” without being answered.

I was trying this free version before probably upgrading to the (heavily promoted in the backend) paid version, but even though I have spent a few hours on it I am going to cut my losses and delete it.

The problem I am having could probably be fixed in 2 minutes, and I’m sure support for the paid version is better, but I’m not taking the chance. This is the place where they could impress potential purchasers, so it’s an opportunity missed.

I’m using Loco Translate and it works perfectly for all the plugins I’m using, except “Woocommerce Compare Products”.
The strings I translate do not show up.

Firstly, thank you for this amazing plugin.

We’re facing a problem. We would like to add a link/icon/image on one of the template files (archive-product.php specifically) to the compare table. Basically, our product page is one column full width, and there is no possibility of adding the compare widget to the sidebar, or anyplace else on the template.

We tried copying the code of the compare button from the compare widget manually and then pasting in on the archive-product.php. The button comes ok, but when clicking it, it takes the user to a new page with the contents of the compare table. The popup does not function.

Please can you help us?

The plugin looks really promising.

We’re using a custom product archive listing template (archive-product.php). And would like to add the compare button on each item of the grid/list. Enabled the option “Manually set Compare button position” in the admin and then copied the code <?php if ( function_exists(‘woo_add_compare_button’ ) ) echo woo_add_compare_button(); ?> on the listing template.

However, the button/link for compare did not show up.

the plugin shows the old results of compare as well if i compare two products from one category and and close the compare window and compare two new products from different category the compare windows shows old results of compare with new one as well.how not to show the old results once the compare window is closed.

Thank you for making a great plugin! So useful for buyers and easy to use for the customers!

I have added attributes to my products. When I downloaded the ‘compare products’ plugin, I had to add the attributes again. It would save me so much time if the attributes I already have could be used by the plugin.

Am I missing something? Does the payed version use the attributes I already have?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I love this plugin and it could add so much more to my website!

I′m testing your lite-plugin at the moment. It needs some time to get it running but than it looks really good and could be very useful for me but the mobile view of the “On Screen Window” on my andoid-phone looks a bit strange. It is not really responsive design, isn′t it?

Hey I wonder if anyone can help me. I have the WooCommerce Compare Products Lite Plug-in installed. I can add the comparison widgets but there are no Comparison Buttons are anything appearing anywhere on my site. In the WC Compare Products Manager the Products are listed as Deactivated. Does the Lite version not actually allow you to compare products? Do you required the Pro version before this will start to work?

Does it have any effect to provide a translation file in the plugin’s languages folder?

I translated some strings into German, uploaded the corresponding file (woo_cp-de_DE.mo) but it has no effect.

From what I can see this is due to the translation strings being loaded into the admin settings which seem to not take into account my .mo file. In addition, this being the lite version, I can’t edit these.

Just want to make sure before I spent more time on this in vain.
