Happy Thursday. Hope all are well.

Am using the plugin and trying to give my international buyers the ability to buy.

The FIRST CLASS package rate is for UP TO 4#’s but when I set it up for my buyers it is adding $13 to the shippingl on the website checkout. When I use my Stamps.com or USPS account straight from the browser it gives me the correct shipping amount. (I wish I could show you images.)

What am I doing incorrectly in the setup?

I Just added 15 qty of “https://purelightcandles.com/product/serenity/” ftrom two different users but enter same address but the showing different shipping rates and TAX is also showing for one user. so can you please check let me know why its happening?

For one user shipping rate is:

Shipping:$99.66?via Priority Mail
Tax: 0

For second user Shipping rate is:
Priority Mail Express: $81.65
Priority Mail: $26.25
Tax: $24.76

I’m encountering an issue on my website. The site is for a candlemaker, and we are currently rolling out our first product, which is breakaway melts. We’re using USPS Ground Advantage for shipping.

However, I’ve noticed that the shipping rates seem to be calculated individually for each melt instead of combining them. For instance:

1 melt = $3.79
2 melts = $7.58
3 melts = $11.37

It appears that each melt is being charged separately, leading to a much higher total shipping cost. Is there a way to ensure that the shipping rates are combined instead of being calculated per item?

Any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same issue as the latest ticket. I’ve tried using the blank field and also used my own. No method shows up. It doesn’t show up on checkout page and it doesn’t show up under woocommerce shipping settings where I can assign it to a zone. Not sure if it’s supposed to show up there or not. Here is debug:

I have created an account in UPS, accessed their API, and retrieved the user ID. However, when I add this user ID to the UPS plugin settings, no shipping addresses are shown on the checkout page (see screenshot: Screenshot). It doesn’t matter which address I input; no shipping methods appear.

Please review this issue and let me know how i should proceed.

For the past month or so USPS Simple has been overcharging on some orders that choose Priority Shipping. I’m seeing this almost daily. USPS Ground Advantage are charging correctly. I have screenshots of the overcharges if that helps. All plugins and the site are up to date, and packaging and weights are all correct.

The plugin is quoting fine for one product based on dimensions and weight. I have another product where the client is using a flat-rate envelope. Is the only way to make this work is to create a flat rate and use a plugin to hide other shipping rates for that product? Hi, I am using your plugin and it working fine. However, it is calculated in different ways for different shipping methods. But, local pickup are working fine. I have set up a standard tax in percentage . e.g my product price is 16.75 and tax rate is 6.875. So, it should calculate 1.15.. And it is giving result fine in local pickup. But, tax is showing $4.40 when I select Priority Mail Express:?$47.25. And showing $1.88 when I select Priority Mail:?$10.59. But I want to calculate standard rate for all of shipping.

But i not see user id anywhere. I asked api support they said: As the “WooCommerce extensions were not developed by the USPS, you will need to work with WordPress/WooCommerce or the extension developer for support.”

We have the USPS plugin added to our Woo website. The rates charge fine per item. But when a user adds more than 1 item in the cart it charges multiple times. The cart should only charge once per order and not per item, when using the USPS plugin.

Just discovered today that tax is not being calculated for any shipping options except “local/pickup.” I deactivated the plug in and started using another USPS Live Rates by Octalize as I could get USPS Simple Shipping to work with the suggested trouble shooting by WooCommerce and WordPress. Hello. On my store’s website I am selling two different complete encyclopedia sets. Because each set contain many large books, the total weight is very heavy (over 70 pounds). How can I set that up with your plugin (Media Mail doesn’t work)? I have had a few customers wanting to buy the sets but they are denied the purchase because of the weight of the item. I am having trouble enabling a local pickup option as well. When I create a local pickup shipping method it seems to override the usps simple plugin. Even when USPS shipping is selected on the cart page, when you get to the shipping details, Local Pickup is the shipping option and no shipping $ is factored in.

Shipping rates are not showing when a site visitor is NOT logged in. If a site visitor adds items to their cart and then tries to see the shipping rates by entering their city and zipcode the message “No shipping options were found for”. But once logged in the shipping rate shows correctly. I have had tech support through SiteGround looking into this since late last night and they have not been able to figure out the fix for this issue. I have looked at all of my settings and cannot find what the problem may be. Any help is appreciated.

USPS Simple Shipping – charging shipping on no ship items

I’ve used this plugin for several years now and it has been working for a while, but now is listing shipping options for items with no shipping (link is an example). Product is set for no taxes, no shipping class, zero product weight, no dimensions, but a shipping amount for priority mail and media mail are calculated, from somewhere, as radio buttons with no option to bypass prior to checkout. I tried adding a criteria-based free shipping option, but there are criteria overlap with physical products requiring shipping. This plugin is perfect for the types of products I offer, except for this one issue.

I once requested a toggle in the setup or an automatic disable of the plugin/shipping for virtual products. I looked to see if an update changed the plugin operation or if I had overlooked a setting, but it appears that the basic set up of the plugin remains the same. Any help would be appreciated.

At some point I will need to move to a more comprehensive shipping solution for a more varied product catalog, but this one works just fine except for the virtual/physical discrepancy.

Everything was working fine up until a few days ago. Now everyone who tries to checkout receives a message saying no shipping options are available. I have updated to the latest version of the plugin and I have left the User ID field empty like you suggested to someone else having a similar problem.

The plugin worked fine several days ago. However, any address entered will produce this message. There were no changes to the plugin previously.

For now, I am just using a flat rate shipment until the issue is sorted.

Can you print labels from this plugin? I don’t see an option. I installed Woocommerce Shipping & Tax which gives you the option to print labels, but it doesn’t offer ground shipping, which is what I’m offering through your plugin. Help.
