I am trying to use this plug-in with a product that has two variations, both of which are bundles. It doesn’t appear to prevent customers from ordering one of each variation. Should it, or is this behavior as expected?
]]>I have a product with 3 variations, var 1 & var 2 can be bought together, but var 3 must be sold invidually.
At tab “Inventory”, I have unchecked “Apply Sold individually” option, but the for default Woocommerce option I checked “Sold individually” option.
And at tab “Variations”, for var 1 & var 2, I also have unchecked Apply “Sold individually”, but for var 3, I checked “Sold individually” checkbox.
But when I test at the shop page, I still can order var 1 or var 2, together with the 3 vars .
If I enabled “Apply Sold individually” option at tab “Inventory”, I can apply sold individually but for all vars.
Could you help me this issue please, thanks in advance.
]]>The way the plugin checks for existing variations in the cart (using generate_cart_id
) will not work if custom meta is added to products when they get added to the cart.
Why not simply loop through the cart content to get products and variations?
]]>Hi!
Is it working with version 7.4.0 of Woocommerce. I’ve been making tests and it seems not to do the job.
Thanks a lot!

Hello – any chance of expanding the plugin to selectively restrict a variable product so that only one variant is allowed in cart, but at any quantity? I’m just trying to prevent a mix of color options when ordering a product in bulk quantities.
]]>Hello, the option of the product to be allowed only 1 variation is not appearing for virtual product. Please help.
]]>Thanks for the plugin. It is not working with Gravity forms, and “WooCommerce Gravity Forms Product Add-Ons” https://woocommerce.com/products/gravity-forms-add-ons/ (this plugin allows custom forms in a product).
If I disable the WooCommerce Gravity Forms Product Add-Ons it works fine.
Thanks for any help.
]]>Hello,
I can not add products into the basket, if the option is activated.
After I click on “add to card”, the loader spins, but no action follows. The basket is then empty.
Thank you for your help.

Hi,
Thanks for the plugin. It’s useful for me.
But, I have a suggestion to improve it. When you select “Apply Sold individually to variations”, and the customer add a different variation to the cart, WooCommerce displays the standard message:
You cannot add another “{Variation product name}” to your cart.
This can confuse customers because there no {Variation product name} in the cart.
I think you can use the filter woocommerce_cart_product_cannot_add_another_message”, to replace the variation name by the variable name in the message.
For example, display “You cannot add another “Tshirt” to your cart. instead of “You cannot add another “Tshirt – Red” to your cart because there is no “Tshirt – Red” in the cart
]]>This plugin broke my website’s ability to use coupons on the variable products where this plugin was used.
At checkout, it would either give a woocommerce error message, “Error processing checkout.” or it would submit/reload the page with no message and leave the order status as pending payment.
Note that there were no PHP errors in my error log.
I have since disabled the plugin and now the coupons work again.
]]>Hello, I have a variable product on my woocommerce. I need to allow users to buy any variation without signingin. It should be a 1 time purchase. Let me know if this is possible with the plugin? Thanks
]]>Hello,
Is it possible to apply ‘Sold individually’ checked as a default for all product variations.
Now, we’ve to edit this for every single product. But we would like to enable this for all products in our store.
Thanks,

Hello,
I would love to use this plugin but I mainly use the Woocommerce Product Bundles Plugin which allows me to create Product Bundles instead of Variable Product. When this plugin is installed, it only created the option under Variable Product, not under Product Bundles.
Is it possible to expand this plugin to allow other product types including Product Bundles? Thanks!
]]>It’s this plugin still working? I have a product with 2 variation and I can order both without problem, even if the checkboxes are both marked in the main inventory tab.
]]>Hey mate,
First of all, cheers for the plugin.
Sold Individually variations should be available by default in WooCommerce!
Anyway, isn’t option 1 not needed here at all?
Doesn’t default ‘Sold Individually’ WooCommerce option apply to no matter if it’s simple or variable product?
Bit confused here ;-p
]]>Hello,
I have a little bit problem with quantity. If you try (in my link) add some variations from “Datovy soubor” everything works fine, here is possible only individual sold. Also in cart it is ok.
But when I add some variations from “Fotografie na fotopapíru” (normal sold) -> 5x (qty) and check cart, every products have quantity “1” but value of “Fotografie na fotopapíru” is 5. It change every value of quantity instead of only individual sold variations but price si as 5. Is there any problem with JS?
Thank you,
Martin
Hi, I’m working with custom URLs to add orders to cart, so that may be the problem.
I have 2 product variations, identified with IDs 160 en 161
If I visit the page /cart/add-to-cart=160 the variation is added to the cart. If I later go to /cart/add-to-cart=161 this variation is added as well.
I checked the “Enable this to only allow one of this product, even if it’s a different variation, to be bought in a single order” checkbox as well. Cleared the cart, refreshed the cart, logged in and out, but the problem seems to remain.
]]>Hello,
is there any way to make it for all articles on basket?

]]>I have a very straightforward scenario:
We’re selling music on our site. Physical CDs and digital downloads. Each album is a product with variations, allowing the customer to either buy the physical CD or the audio downloads. Obviously, we would like to allow quantities to be selected for the CD, but would need a “sold individually” option for the downloads (you wouldn’t buy multiples of a download).
So the question is, how can I bring the “sold individually” option into the variation level and select it only for some variations, same as the stock management?
]]>Oi, tudo bem?
N?o consegui fazer funcionar. Eu consigo adicionar novas varia??es ao carrinho.
