I need to search the backend, will the plugin work?
can it search part of the SKU?
Hi All,
This is the first plugin I’ve used that actually works with SKU numbers and variable products!
After reviewing the plugins code it looks like it will associate the product variation with the parent post. So when I search a product variation based on it’s SKU it will redirect me to the parent post of that variation which then has all the attributes set to ‘select’.
The idea behind my site is that I want to make it nice and easy for clients to search a product by a SKU and it redirects them to that product page with all the attributes pulled up for that particular SKU.
I’ve been banging my head against the wall for the past week as to how to pull in the attributes as I’m not a a true programmer(I’m getting there slowly!). Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
]]>Hi
The Search by SKU plugin is working well in the backend, but not at all in the frontend. Is there anything I need to do to get it to work?
Thank you
Sheila
When active and you filter products by category in the admin simple products are filtered out.
]]>So when I have this plugin activated, it’s seems that when I add a new product, that product is saved as a draft, instead of publishing the product when I press Publish.
Can you fix this bug?
]]>Your function “tr_sku_search_helper” ruins the backend search in woocommerce.
The problem shows itself when ordering by a category from the product list view.
1. Go to wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product
2. Order by a category from the search.
3. 1 / no results.
We’ve disabled it for the backend by wrapping it in is_admin(), so not a problem for us, but you should fix the code ??
]]>Seems to be not working for the standard search field on the frontend!? Does this require a special search widget?
]]>Just installed your plugin and when I type in the sku in the WooCommerce search widget it returns “NO PRODUCTS WERE FOUND MATCHING YOUR SELECTION”. Please advise.
]]>Hello Sir,
I just installed and activate the plugin, but it doesn’t work to me…
Please I need your help.
Thank You
Nick
