I’m using this plugin on a customer shop. I’m translating the website with WPML, but I’m unable to get the email delivery template to work correctly in the secondary language.
I have tried setting the “Gift Card” custom post type to “translatable” in WPML settings and translate the email template (I am using default “Custom template” for the Gift Cards in primary language):

I have been loving this plugin, but it has suddenly stopped working correctly with the latest updates.
When a user selects/inputs an amount for the gift card product and adds to cart, when viewing the cart the amount is either 0 or the default set amount and NOT the amount that the user input.
You can view the product via the link attached to this query – the product is live, but not shown in the shop.
I notice my site is set to add-to-cart using ajax but this product reloads the page after adding to cart. Perhaps that’s relevant?
Please could you advise if this is a bug or whether it’s a clash with other plugins (although I have tested with other plugins and themes deactivated).

]]>I have searched and searched, but I cannot find anywhere in the backend how to change the subject line of the email which is sent to buyer of the gift card (it is sent to their own email, not the recipient’s).
Right now it says “[store name]: Hurry! the gift card is Received” which 1. has terrible use of upper and lower case letters, 2. is overall a really weird thing to say and 3. is not in the language of my customers. Please let me know how to change this, thanks.

]]>Good morning, unfortunately following the 3.0.2 update I noticed that the user price disappears. This is very serious because the Customer cannot purchase the gift card. We were unable to identify the problem and no error log is generated on the server, but by removing this version and installing the previous version 3.0.1 everything started working correctly again. I don’t know if it’s an isolated case but I think it requires attention. Thank you for your attention and time.

I see a nice clean section called delivery method on the product page. I’m wondering if it would be possible to implement the option for a customer to choose a physical card for the amount they chose. And if it could be conditioned on a certain card amount (ie. over $50), the option to have a physical card sent to their shipping address would then show. Then maybe allow them to choose a card design as well?
That would be fantastic :). Of course, if it was made part of the paid version that would make sense.

I am currently having the issue on a website, that recipient mail-adresses for the gift cards are rejected as invalid, when they are actually valid. This only happens for “unusual” TLDs so I suspect that your validation doesnt know those.
An example that returned an error was “[email protected]”.
Can you please update the validation to include more unusual TLDs like “.digital” so all customers can buy gift-cards? In the meantime, is there a way to (temporarily) deactivate the validation?

So far so good….but I realized that the plugin has a problem with “minimum spend”.
I set the “minimum spend” to 15 Euro and tried to use the created vouchers….they work even for products below 15 Euro and they have the effect to reduce my shipping costs by the amount of taxes….for example….I put a product for 5,90 Euro into cart…..which makes:
5,90 Euro product + 3,49 Euro shipping = 9,39 Euro including 1,50 Euro tax (19%)
After using voucher 15 Euro cart looks like that:
0,00 product + 2,93 Euro shiping = 2,93 Euro including 0,00 Euro tax????
Means…despite the fact that “minimum spend” is 15 Euro voucher works anyway and is reducing tax for shipping costs to 0%.
It does not matter whether I activate or deactivate taxes in general settings.

I seem to have an issue with Gift Cards lite and Event Tickets Manager (both WP Swings plugins)
When purchasing regular products a user can checkout/complete payment successfully. However when purchasing an event ticket from Event Tickets Manager the user cannot checkout and errors are generated.
Disabling the Gift Cards Lite plugin allows users to complete checkout and purchase their tickets. So pretty sure it’s something with the Gift Card plugin.
Uncaught TypeError: stripslashes(): Argument #1 ($string) must be of type string, array given in /home/gathernsew/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woo-gift-cards-lite/public/class-woocommerce-gift-cards-lite-public.php:1585
The above error is being logged, which is helpful but I’m not sure what I need to do to fix this.
Any assistance or advice would be appreciated.

For some reason when a customer adds the information to the gift card and adds it to the cart – sometimes the amount of the card shows 0 instead of the sum that was added. This could be some sort of cache problem, I have tryed to not cache the cart, but still this happens every now and then. When I go and clear all cache, it works fine for some time, but the next day the problem start again. I used LitespeedCache and then changed to WP Fastest Cache, but the problem still continues. Any ideas?

Hi, we’re experiencing problems with the plugin (Free): it seems that in the case of an order with more than one gift card, only the first email with the first code for the first gift card is sent, the second one with the second code does not arrive, but it’s present in the order.
Is the plugin limited to one gift card per order?

I’m using the Pro version of Ultimate Gift Cards for WooCommerce version 2.8.8 and I have several issues include some with the preview functionality and add to cart button.
Most of the time the “Select Date” don’t show the calendar on click.
Most of the time the characters counter doesn’t work.
If I fill every field and hit “preview” it doesn’t show any preview unless I to the following steps:
I have the same problem on both languages of my website (I’m using WPML Pro).
Even if I disable the Preview Button, I have the same issue to add to cart, I need to fill things twice and press “Add to cart” button twice.
It’s a shame for a plugin I paid.
Any idea why is it happening and how to fix it?

]]>Hello, our complete website is broken. We investigated the issue and found out, if we deactive the Ultimate Gift Cards for WooCommerce Plugin, the critical error is gone.
When the plugin is active it seems like the website is in some sort of “endless loop” and spams a huge amount of errors in the debug.log. The file becomes extremely large within seconds.
In the debug.log the error message is:Function get_cart was called incorrectly. Get cart should not be called before the wp_loaded action
