Hi,

every now & then this pops up:

PHP Warning: Attempt to read property “post_type” on string in /srv/wp-content/plugins/woo-custom-and-sequential-order-number/includes/classes/class-wcson-order-number.php on line 68

Unfortunately I only see it later in the logs, without knowing how to reproduce it. Fortunately, ultimately no negative effects as far as I can tell.

From a first look, it seems something calls wcson_order_number with its second $post parameter as the default empty string, and that’s then attempted to be compared to 'shop_order' === $post->post_type in that line.

is the plugin support Dokan? because I want to add order number with vendor store name. Example Order number is “1455” and Store name is “Toko Sepatu”. and then order number become to “1455-Toko Sepatu”.

Hi there, we have a strange problem that if customers purchase at the same time, they get identical Order Numbers. Is there a way to prevent this or to fix it?
It is usually the case with 2 orders having the same number. this happened 2 times in the last month.

Hi. We use shipworks as our shipping software and a connector plugin by advanced creations. We have not found a custom order number plugin that changes the order number at the database level. Right now the shipworks connector grabs the native order number from the database but do not use the modified order number from any plugins. Does anyone have a work around?

Hi,

I just upgraded to the new version on my test site (WP 5.6.1). My order number format is “2019/20_{number_start_from:1000}”. My order numbers go:

2019/20_1148
2019/20_1149
2019/20_1150

Upgrade

2019/20_1024
2019/20_1028

So a. not continuing from where they were and b. not sequential.

Can you help please?

This plug-in came recommended by wp-staging: https://wp-staging.com/docs/skip-woocommerce-orders-and-products/ I have this installed on both my production and staging site. I setup the plugin on my production site to start at order#11001 {number_start_from:11001}

When I export the orders using another recommended plugin by wp-staging called
Order / Coupon / Subscription Export Import Plugin for WooCommerce (BASIC), before importing I’ll check out the export file with excel.
It shows the order ID as 4404 (which is the post ID) and the order Number as 11001. When I import this file back to staging my Order# flips back to the order ID and not the Order Number like I had hoped for.

We keep running into duplicate order numbers and VJinfotech have not replied any of my messages here – og on their support site.

This happens once in a while: The order number generated from the plugin are dublicated. It′s the free plugin.

What could be the cause – and how do we fix it?

This plugin looks fantastic. I just tried out the Lite demo. However, can you tell me which number formats are available in the free version and which ones are available in the pro version? The free version lists and saves all formats, but only appears to obey the default date-orderID format, not the startfrom-orderID format.
