If you need to process WooCommerce transactions through the Clover payment gateway, this plugin is your answer.

The integration experience between WooCommerce and Clover is so seamless and reliable that I rarely have to think about the plugin or interact with it. We have used this plugin on a client’s e-commerce store for years and I interacted with Zaytech support three times:

1. The first time was during a site redesign and I just had questions about the plugin as it related to the style and function. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to understand.
2. The second time was when we had an issue with the credit card fields. Zaytech support got right to work and determined the root cause and solution. The problem was related to hosting/caching and not their plugin, yet they were still willing to provide support and help us get to a resolution.
3. The third time was today. Transactions were getting blocked due to an issue with Clover’s fraud tool settings. Clover themselves were unable to figure it out. I reached out to Zaytech support as a shot in the dark, and they responded with a solution on a Saturday morning that worked. Again, not their problem and not an issue with the plugin, yet they offered assistance in getting the payments to start processing again. Ironically, they seem to know the Clover merchant portal better than Clover support does.

this plugin will not work with Woocommerce the way Stripe and others work. You cannot use APIs. Good luck finding them anyway. You have to install an additional app in your merchant account. You cannot install that app if you have the less expensive merchant account…you have to upgrade, at double the cost.

They not only implemented the requested feature for refunds, as communicated through email, but also demonstrated a proactive commitment to meeting user needs. This level of support has certainly contributed to our positive experience with the plugin.

This integration works great, however there are 2 problems

1. If you’re canadian, it only asks for Zip Code when entering the credit card payment screen, sometimes postal codes work sometimes it doesn’t. Could lead to abandoned carts.

2. It is not secure, it doesn’t take advantage of credit card tokinization, therefore customers can easily dispute purchases and merchants would lose the dispute cases when first data claims that Visa 3d secure was not utilized.

Therefore as of today we are switching off of it and moving over to FirstData which is a direct plugin that wordpress recommends

I tried three times to install the plugin, three times I waited 10 minutes each to receive an email to verify my email, that didn’t happen. Failed to install.

I spent a while trying to connect only to be told this does not work in Europe (i.e. anyone with a eu.clover account)

Plugin is great for people who have clover pos systems and want to consolidate orders. Support is some of the best I have experienced. Would 100% recommend this to anyone.
