I’m trying to modify the checkout fields in a new installation of WordPress 6.5.3 and WooCommerce 8.9.1.

It seems 8.9.1 uses WP blocks by default and the plugin doesn’t work.

Anyone can help me?

Hello,

I want to ask how can the plugin show additional fields when another field is checked.

For example if someone checks that they are buying as a company, I want to have 3 additional fields showing up after that where text is entered:

– name of company
– fiscal number of company
– address of company

How can this be achieved?

So I cant select these checkboxes below, my WordPress is in right to left writing language not like English which is written from left to right

Hello, I have an issue where I created a custom text area field, and I limit it to 160 cheracters. As it works ok with english, I have an issue with greek language. We write the text field below 160 characters and we have the message that we can not write over 160 characters. There is an issue and I don’t know how to solve it.

Do you have a solution for this?

I make my changes on each tabe, may work for a few minutes, then resets

Made changes on one tab, saved, switched tabs, go back to tab, seeting not saved or may were reset

I have deleted the postal code field to create it again as a select type field, when creating it (with the name billing_postcode) it does not save the changes, it does not create the field, even if I create it as text type.

Hello Everyone, apologies for this issue, login to your website cPanel or ftp go to your website directory \wp-content\plugins\woo-checkout-regsiter-field-editor and delete this directory your issue will resolve and install the plugin again from wordpress. again sorry for this problem, thanks

The plugin is causing issues with my site, making the site publicly inaccessible. It shows a critical error when visiting my website, so I deactivate the plugin

We’ve installed your plugin and set up a single textarea field on checkout to capture a gift message for orders placed on our site but the messages entered don’t appear in either the order details in admin or the emails received by the customer.

Dear Custom Fields WooCommerce Checkout Page creators,

I am using cart notices to display customer infos in our checkout pages.

If I create a text field and add the same info in additional sections area, I am getting the text displayed in checkout page too, but I only want to get this text displayed in order emails, as that info is already added as chart notice in the checkout detail page.

In your plugin settings, there is no option found to “display only text in emails”.
If I uncheck “Display in order details Pages” then the textbox is still displayed in order details pages.

hi, I am using WOOLEMENTOR PRO (WC DESIGNER PRO) and after some tests I realized that when WC DESIGNER PRO is active, the changes I do to Custom Field Woo Commerce Checkout Page do not work. Is this something has to do with your plugin or with WC DESIGNER PRO?

I get a Failure Message on my website, from the Plugin

Freemius->has_any_active_valid_license()

But I bought a licence!

What can be wrong?

Can i create fields with your plugin and the save them to user meta in functions.php ?

But now I want to add one more text area by Company Name, for that I am using id as “billing_company” but it’s not allowing me to create text area and display error message “Your changes were not saved due to an error (or you made none!). ”

Is there any way we can get the same fields available when we add an order manually in wp-admin?

The checkout fields editor is really helpful for us as long as the customer completes the order the ordinary way, but in many cases we need to help customers by making everything ready for them so they can finish it by doing payment.

I created a custom text-field and it is visible when i click on particular order id, I also want that to visible outside where the main orders show where it says
order, invoice number, date, status etc

After last update my site became broken. It is because of function names conflict in my functions.php file and your plugin.

I’ve fixed this problem by renaming my custom_override_checkout_fields hook to be more specific. IMHO, you’ll better rename it too.

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 24 of the file /var/www/html/wp-content/themes/hestia-child/functions.php. Error message: Cannot redeclare custom_override_checkout_fields() (previously declared in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/woo-checkout-regsiter-field-editor/main.php:282)

This plugin implements a filter that calls a function named ‘jwcfe_checkout_fields_select_field’.
This function runs every time the woocommerce_form_field_select filter is applied, and it essentially throws away and rewrites the select element.
This might not necessarily be an issue, but if another plugin (say the authorize.net AIM plugin) is using woocommerce_form_field to create a select and this plugin goofs with what woocommerce provides, things break.
Specifically the echeck payment method in that plugin fails because:
1) there’s a huge difference between an input named
“wc-authorize-net-aim-echeck-account-type” <– original woocommerce_form_field output
and “wc-authorize-net-aim-echeck-account-type[]” <– what this plugin’s internal select filter provides as output (line 202 in version 1.2.3).
and 2) It doesn’t include the option’s value name (line 192 in version 1.2.3)… that’s it, it just throws it away, leaving HTML to use the option’s text as the value, which is a problem because “Checking” and “checking” are two completely different values.
Would you mind resolving these issues when you have some time?
