When working with a filter for example on a category and there is more than 1 page, you can not get to the next pages. If you click for the next page the filter is gone.

This is quite annoying, can you fix this?

Hi. I have followed the video tab Variations Advanced Bulk Operations to delete variations but it doesn’t delete them. I have filter by ID, selected all variations and then in the Advanced Variations editor I have added 2 attributes and a value for each, the message in read said it will delete matching variations for 72 items filtered but after completing the process all the variations are still there. I’m using the free version. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Hello, quick question about the plugin. Can I bulk clear all the attributes in registered in products that aren’t set as variations. And if yes, can I prevent on specific attribute to stay event though it’s not set as a variation.
I have sizes attributes (let’s say S, M, L, XL, XXL) and brands (adidas, nike, blabla).
I want to be able to clear all sizes attributes from products that aren’t set as variation (example I’ve set S, L but no M and XXL even though they are set as attributs in those products BUT NOT as variation). And doing so, I want to leave all the pa_brands attributes in the product even though they are not set as variations.

i have a webshop with more than 3000 products and when i try to use the bulk editor to add an attribute it doesn’t want to save it. It used to work before but now it doesn’t. When i go to edit it via woocommerce product editor it does show up when i try adding it there and saving it. But i can’t be doing that for 3000+ products. Can you check what is causing this issue?

i use memcached with litespeed and when object caching is enabled, it messes with the search results within bear(works flawlessly elsewhere on the site).

Is it possible to exclude bear search from object caching?

can you tell me what is meant by 1 product attribute in the free version? Does that mean all terms under that one attribute can be edited? What I need to do is convert a bunch of simple products into variable products. 1 attribute with 3 terms. Basically three variations for each product. Can I do that with this plug-in?

I have the problem with text editing. When clicking the content to edit the product description, all the texts in the pop-up interface lose the layout. I am using the outdated license pro version. Is it the reason I got the probelm.

Initially I think it might be something wrong with wp core. However, after updating to the latest wp 6.5.3 today, the same issue exists.

To replicate the issue, I did the following: (Both staging and live are wp 6.5.3 version)

1. I tested it on the staging site with v.2.1.4.2 (old bear edit version), it has no this issue.

2. I tested it on the live site with v.2.1.4.4 (latest bear edit version, the issue exists.

Please test from your end and advise how to fix it.

As soon as I try to launch the editor, I get the error message

hello, I’m interested in the plugin but I would like to make sure of a particular functionality that I need. I will build an online store with several products that will all have the same attributes for variations. These will be formats for photos. There will be 5 different formats, each with their own price. I would like to be able to mass modify the price for each format when I need, which would then apply to all my products at once, to avoid me having to modify the price of a variation on each product. Can I do this with your plugin?

The plugin doesnt work as expected anymore.

For example if i want to bulk edit a lot of variations i get this error. Sometimes page 1 works (first 100 products) but then when i go to page 2 to the next 100 products it removes the filter and i get all products. How can is solve this?

Is there any way within BEAR settings or with a wp-config variable to disable / hide the admin menu bar item your plugin is adding to WordPress?

If there isn’t, would you please add an option for this? I have no need for an additional admin menu item for BEAR, and having too many admin menu items breaks the layout of the admin bar on smaller computer screens.

I realise I can disable it with backend CSS, but I’d rather not have to go down that route, as it requires additional measures to inject CSS changes into the wp-admin.

I have problem with bulk editing. If I edit couple of products, it runs fine. But if i want to edit more (500+), it throws an error. In browser console, there is:

/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 524 ()

This happens exactly after 100s which is my max execution time. But on other websites, I let it run way more than my max execution time.

Where can be a problem?

One thing I cannot figure before I do and know its perfect for us is sort items by category…. I’ve added ‘product category’ to the bulk editor grid but while all other fields have a ‘sort’ arrow. The categories does not and there is no option to filter certain categories out?

When I set the publication of products to 12:00, the products are published at 1:00 p.m. I checked and CRON events have an hour delay in my case. Local time and server time are CET (+1), CRON events fire according to the UTC time zone.

Additional information: I have the default WP CRON disabled and I use the server CRON. Adding “TZ=Europe/Warsaw” to the server CRON settings does not help.

Can you check this and tell me how to fix it?

Hi, The filter for Bulk Bear Editor is not working. I would type a name of my product into the field and click the filter icon and nothing happens. Nothing is filtered. Hello, thank you for the great plugin I have purchased a licence as well. I found a small issue where the woo shop manager role can see the BEAR editor tab and see the dashboard pages but can’t make any changes via the bulk editor as it shows up with access denied.

I’m assuming the permission to make changes should be granted to the Shop Manager role? How can I go about giving the shop manager access to edit cia the bulk editor?

I have been using your plugin for years for my client sites.

I have one particular customer I am currently adding over 100 Variations for 1 product and it seems to be moving them out of order once I save in the “EDIT PRODUCT” section which is very frustrating. (that issue is NOT within your plugin) FYI.

In your plugin, can I drag product variations to put in particular order through your Plugin, and it is reflected in the actual Woocommerce product order?

I’m trying to resolve an issue I have for this product with too many variations and the order is going out of whack. I still need to ADD in the pricing for the products yet also so need it in the correct ORDER before I add the pricing in (as I’m going from an Excel spreadsheet).

Just wondering and hoping !

Hi, I have added a product that has 4 Types of Variations:

Thickness / Width / Roll Size / Colour

And just 1 product with all these variations. It has created over 100 variations for this product with all the options required.

I have added All the correct Attributes, AND all the Variations also, therefore it has created quite a few for this product.

I can see them all in the Product backend where it shows ALL the options for the Variations there, ready for pricing to be added. Obviously I don’t want to waste time and ADD the product pricing for each variation in the “EDIT PRODUCT” section as that takes forever. Therefore the purpose of using your plugin is to REDUCE my time spent adding and changing pricing for products with variations.

As there are at least 100 prices to be added for this 1 particular product because of the number of variations, I would like to use your Bulk Editor.

I have used your Bulk Editor previously for other clients with NO issues seeing the Variations Name Title in the Bulk Editor.

I have clicked on the “SHOW Variations” obviously also FYI as I know how to use your plugin.

Is it a filter issue because of so many variations for this particular product?

Currently though when I look under the product in your plugin, it just shows the title of the Product (and doesn’t show the Variations in here at all for that product) therefore I cannot see WHAT price to ADD as I can ONLY see the same Title Description on many many lines.

This is odd as I haven;’t seen this behaviour previously. Could it be having a heart attack as it has created many Variations, and the bulk editor doesn’t like it ?

I have other products already in the Woocommerce store, and when I view then in Bulk Editor, they show the Size and Colour from the current product already live on the shop.

So I’m rather confused as to WHY it is NOT showing the Title with the Variation in small letters so I can ADD Pricing for these product Variations urgently.

I have the current WordPress and current Plugin installed.

Please advise ASAP if someone has had this issue before or HOW do I fix this.?

I have variant products, sku is only set for variant. For example I have product named “T-shirt”, variant size L SKU-shirtL, variant size M SKU -shirtM

Then I search by product name “shirt”, I can see prevsious product in list. but if I sort result by SKU, then the variant product is gone. Because product itself does not have SKU, only variant has SKU set.

I have entered some products with variations with woocommerce.

I enable “variations”, but I just can’t edit the variations prices. The new price does not stick, or it shows “forbidden”. Those variation rows are even a bit diagonally striped.

Is this simple and important variation edit function not possible, do I need another plugin for that ?

I am using BEAR Bulk Editor and Products Manager Professional for WooCommerce to create the product variations. I have 660 combinations of product variations using the different attributes of the product. When clicking on the Start Bulk Adding button after some time, it shows the alert box about the error. We have been using your plugin with great pleasure to add our Pre made Attributes (before using BEAR) to all of our products.

Recently we noticed that the Attributes are all visible on the product page (In the tab: Additional information). The thing is: We do not want any of these attributes to be visibile on the product page (not for our simple products and not for our variable products).

Now we did find out how to change the visibility of attributes on product page for variable products (in the advanced tab). But how do we uncheck it in bulk for our simple products?
