So it looks like this plugin got abandoned because I can’t get to the plugin site anymore. I’ve come across a bug on the “Related Products” portion. If a product with a badge appears, I get all this code garble in place of where the product sits. Does anyone else have this issue and knows how to fix it?

Customers cannot shop due to a bug with the cart. This is a critical error and renders the plugin completely useless.
If there is anyone still alive on the dev-part, please respond.

After installing this plug-in, my website started to get some bugs.
My cancel order notification appear to be disconfigurated. Also, when i add a new product to my shopping cart, i can’t see the image of the product.

Hello there,
Anyway to bulk apply a badge from a WooCommerce categorie or selection?
Thank you!
HI,
We updated the plugin to Version: 1.0.9 and the bade is bringing in lots of code and messing up the layout, see screen shot https://prntscr.com/10udlwo
We have disabled for the moment.
I switched from an unstable Theme to use Blocksy Theme. Suddenly, Badge Designer doesn’t work. I reached out to the developers, and this was their reply:
`Now, onto your problems:
Badge Designer Lite plugin
I’ve tried to test this plugin and to provide integration with it from Blocksy, but I really think it’s not worth it. This plugin uses outdated coding techniques and outputs a lot of warnings while the WP_DEBUG mode is turned on: https://cln.sh/YAPyKI
Please note that I’ve tested this with the Storefront theme (not Blocksy) — which is the default theme that comes from WooCommerce. So any plugin that claims to work correctly with WooCommerce should also work properly with Storefront. This one doesn’t.
Once this plugin works reliably with Storefront, we’ll be happy to integrate it with Blocksy too.
When we implement a Woo related change, we always always test it with Storefront first to make sure how they do it so that we don’t break compatibility with other tools from the ecosystem. So, believe me, it’s really something that we spend a lot of time on and it’s very sad to hear when someone says that we’re “attacking on most WooCommerce related addons”.So, to keep our conversation productive, when you see that something is working correctly with Storefront but doesn’t with Blocksy, let us know with detailed reproduction steps and we’ll take care of it.
AJAX add to cart slow on archives
Turns out this is Badge Designer plugin again that causes it. In fact, the adding to the cart is VERY fast, it’s just that the loading feedback keeps spinning when this plugin is enabled with Blocksy.`
Look at what they said in my highlighted Text– This plugin uses outdated coding techniques and outputs a lot of warnings while the WP_DEBUG mode is turned on.
My main emphasis is here– This plugin uses outdated coding techniques
Can this plugin be updated to modern and current coding techniques and standards?
Needing to hear from you soon.
Regards
Divi and wooCommerce – everything works after installation, but the short description disappears. After removing the plugin, the descriptions come back. Can anybody help?

Hello,
Thanks for your great plug in !
I’m using Products By Attributes & Variations for WooCommerce to display variation as a product in my categorie pages and the badges doesn’t appear in my category page.
For example : https://lerepaireduchef.fr/categorie-produit/fumoir/
https://lerepaireduchef.fr/fumoir-electrique-bradley-smoker/
No problem in my home page : https://lerepaireduchef.fr/
Thanks in advance to help me !

WP Version: 5.5.2
Plugin Version: 1.0.6
Divi Version: 3.26.6 (concerning builder hook output conlfict)
WooCommerce Version: 4.6.1
With the plugin enabled, there is a problem on the checkout page: the blockui blockoverlay is enabled and you can not checkout anymore. Disabling the plugin solves this issue.
Woo version 4.6.1
Pls fix this issue with the plugin.
Hi,
I really need a solution for this. When my customers click add to cart button, ajax add to cart is not working. It appears 0 product(s) in cart. But after I reloaded that page, product added to cart.
Here’s the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/v5wxje
Thanks if you can assist quickly.
When scrolling down towards the bottom of my product pages, the plugin crashes hanging add-to-cart area of the page. It shows a bunch of code there.
I installed this to try it before making decision on the pro version. It seems to break the cart page if I add more than 1 product in the cart. Deactivating the plugin and the issue goes away.
I got list of items as widget, but I don’t want the badges to show in widget area, but can’t figure out how to do that.
The closest I got to making it dissapear was with CSS
.product_list_widget .wobd-badges-wrapper {
display: none !important;
}
But then the product image also vanished ??
When this plugin is enabled, the minicart in header won’t drop down when hovering over it.
There’s a bug in woo-badge-designer-lite/includes/admin/class/wobd-hook.php
causing this plugin to break the output buffer when woocommerce_product_get_image
is called outside of the product page context. The ob_start()
call in wobd_badge_on_product
is made at the beginning of the function, but outside of the product pages, the condition if ( $product ) {
returns false, and ob_end_clean()
is never called. This leads to conflicts with other plugins that also make use of the output buffer (like our own WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips), mixing up start and end of different level buffers.
Moving the ob_start()
call to inside the if-statement fixes this.
Hello,
I noticed that when you want to proceed to place an order the following error appears in the top of the page :
SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0
Screenshot: https://ibb.co/8PK5wLx
This disfunction disappears when I desactivate your plugin.
I am using WooCommerce, WC Vendors and Divi theme
How could I fix this ?
Thanks
Great plugin and i’d like to upgrade however I get the following error when using with Divi theme. When using with Divi custom theme builder there is a duplicate of the product image/gallery at the start of the page, please see the following example:
https://www.parkgrangeadvancedskinclinic.com/?post_type=product&p=232655&preview=true
This is the extra div it creates at the start of the main content after the clearfix:
<div class=”woocommerce-product-gallery woocommerce-product-gallery–with-images woocommerce-product-gallery–columns-4 images”>
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
Hello,
I’ve installed your plugin and created two stickers – one for products on sale “Promocja!” and one set per product “Darmowa dostawa”.
And I’ve observed the following problem:
Sticker for on sale is shown on EVERY sigle product page even though the product is NOT on sale.
On product list page [products] ([ redundant link removed ]) the badge “Promocja!” behave properly – that’s is shown when the product is on sale.
But on the single product page the badge is shown even though the product is not on sale and I didn’t set the badge “Promocja!” to the product at product settings (is set “Darmowa dostawa”).
How to resolve it?
