I was thinking of activating this plugin and maybe pro. Updates have not been for 11months. Will this project be abandoned? or are you still providing updates and fixes?

Ever since the 1.0.37 version the templates/wishlist-single/wishlist-single-hook.php contains the variable $pickplugins_wl_list_items_per_page = 3; on line 377. Could you please remove this again so that the plugin actually uses the options.

I am trying out the plugin to provide a ‘Wishlist’ when viewing artworks on a new design website. I selected this plugin as I have utilised the ‘Post Tag’ criteria to only apply the wishlist, this works perfectly.

I have one Post Tag set = 4Sale, thus only those items will have a ‘wishlist’applied, yes working. My problem is the wishlist only works when “Logged In” to the website….WHY?

I do not have Woocommerce installed, the website is a ‘blog style’ it will not be a shopping site. I wanted the ‘Wishlist’ to aid potential art buyers in saving the work they may have an interest in buying. Then copying the wishlist and sending to the artist (website owner). Unfortunately I have not found and plugin documentation to help.

Any ideas on what I have done wrong?

Hello, I think It would be more nicer user experience, if I could close wishlist menu popup not only with X button also after clicking outside.

How to make all wishlist as private as default? for all users

We have a multiple editors and users in our platform. I’ve recognized that default wishlist count all wishlisted items of all users. It should be private wishlisted items. I think it’s an issue. Can you help me?

There is a problem with your plugin. We use the Impreza theme and when adding the heart shortcode, there is a conflict with the buyer’s basket. It disappears on the pages of the site where your shortcode is. As soon as we disable the shortcode, the trash icon appears.

Hi, I am trying to use Wishlist for custom post type. It is working fine. However, the challenge I have is, I am not able to customize what gets displayed in [my_wishlist], [wishlist_archive] and [wishlist_single]. Additionally, I need to modify the styling, but am not able to do it. In the Setting, there are not many options to customize the details and styling. The documentation at https://pickplugins.com/documentation/wishlist/shortcodes/shortcode-wishlist_single/ does not detail any parameters that can be used in the shortcode. Please suggest.

We have changed the Wishlist icon to custom image. It is working fine when logged-in. But without logged-in, the the Wishlist image is not showing instead it is showing the default font awesome heart icon.

I want my custom image to be shown when not logged-in. Also when not logged-in, if user click on that icon it should go to login page. Please can you assist for the same.

I can’t translate the following strings using PO/MO-Files.

For example: “My Wishlist” on the WooCommerce My Account page.

The Plugin is using __( 'My Wishlist', 'woocommerce' );, but WooCommerce doesn’t have this translation, it needs to be __( 'My Wishlist', 'wishlist' );

Also it’s not possible to translate the string “Saved in” for the hint tooltip.

Sorry to bother you guys. I am using the Avada theme. I’d like to be able to install a Favorites or Wishlist/Shortlist kind of plugin that allows potential customers when surfing my live bands’ pages, to be able to “like” a band page so it gets saved in a shortlist for them with any other band profile pages they’ve liked, and then have the functionality that they can send me that completed list when they are done, along with any other relevant information I might need to organise the live band for them, like their wedding date, and their wedding location etc. Does this plugin allow them to add some information like this to their shortlist, and send it to me? I also don’t want them to have to sign up, just to be able to like some of my pages to send me. I’d like them to just be guests that can build a shortlist, and send it to me.

Hi @hasanrang05, I am using the Wishlist Pro version. There is one customization that I would like to do, but am stuck. Here is what I would like to do: When a user adds a custom post to a Wishlist, the Wishlist must store a custom URL and not the post ID. Right now, the Wishlist stores the post ID details and so when the user clicks the link in the saved Wishlist, the single post page is displayed. However, I would like the Wishlist to store an external link that is available in the blog. The blog has external link (that is unique to each blog). So, when the user adds a blog to their Wishlist, the link URL must be that of external link (stored in the blog) and not the post ID. Can you please confirm what customization is required to achieve this?

In addition to this, I would like to have users of my site be able to bookmark a complete category. For example, Breakfast recipe. Breakfast is a category that has multiple blogs containing different recipes. Is this option available in the Pro version or is it a setting that needs to be set or is this function not possible? The name and url of the wishlist button on the my account page is always set at ‘My Wishlist’ and /my_wishlist/. Even tho i select a different wishlist page in the settings.

I don’t think any of our clients will want a public wishlist by default. Is there a way to make Products I Love private by default? There is no option to make it private. At least not on the free version. Is this option avaiable on the paid version? Thank you.

Unfortunately, my client photographed a lot of jewelry on white backgrounds, so many of the thumbnail images on my Wishlist page are completely blank because it just cropped the white part. It would be better if I could just shrink the images. They are all square images.

Wishlists (plural) does not have an apostrophe. It looks really bad to have this grammatical error everywhere.

Plurals don’t require apostrophes. Wishlists is a plural. You only need apostrophes if you are making a contraction or showing ownership.

Additional errors are on your login template (my-wishlists-hook.php). You forgot the word “be” and you only linked the word “logged” for some reason. And again, you put an incorrect apostrophe on wishlists. This is how it looks currently:

It should look like this:

You must be Logged in to see wishlists.
