]]>A very quick setup and the front page of my wiki is already dramatically improved by being with my WordPress theme, however….
Is there any way to stay within WordPress once someone clicks on a link within the wiki? For example, on my wiki main page I have a link to mywiki/wiki_entry. Using Wikiful Mediawiki Bridge extension I now embed my wiki within a WP page. I browse to the WP page and click on the link mywiki/wiki_entry and I am straight back to the plain old wiki.
I don’t really see how it is possible to stay within WP, but the extension seems to be of limited value without that.
Any feedback about this issue and solution appreciated
]]>Let’s see…
1. Upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory or install via the WordPress plugins control panel. DONE
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
Go to the Wikiful settings menu and configure the plugin options. DONE
3. Install the plugin by clicking the Install button. This will create a new page titled Wikiful through which you can access your wiki. WHERE IS THE INSTALL BUTTON??
Also, what is a “Wikiful URL” what value should it be?
I’ve installed tons of WordPress plugins but this one so far has me flummoxed. Some better instructions would be appreciated, especially since it’s probably really simple to get this working with a little more granular guidance.
Thanks!
]]>“In the future we will also add single-sign-on features as well as the possibility to edit your wiki from the confort of your WordPress installation.”
Can we enlist community help to get this done?
At least the single sign-on would be a great step forward!
]]>I would like to change the default title of the sidebar navigation widget from “Wikiful Navigation” to “Wiki Pages”, butthe widget has no title edit capacity.
Can you help?
I’m trying to think up a way so that every time a page is created int he wiki, a page will be created in wordpress with the appropriate short code for wikiful. Wondering if anyone has an idea for how this could be done?
]]>I am also quite interested in a single-sign on option for WP and Media Wiki. Are you still interested to release a new version of this plugin? I might be able to help with that (although I am a beginner in WordPress programming).
]]>I have several bugs:
