Gday ??
Does your plugin only show OR hide?
Or can it also include more complex scenarios?
Is it possible to restrict clicking on a widget and getting access if user is non-paying user?
For example all users can see online members and popular members in sidebar widget (either horizontally or vertically displayed) like in Facebook. But if a user is a free user he cannot click on those little round online members in the sidebar widget. If a user is paying member they can click and acces that particular online mebers profile page though.
Any suggestions?
]]>Hi there.
I have a widget that it’s configured to appear only on search pages, so I’ve used the [search] condition. Problem is that with the debug mode on, wp shows a notice stating that “is_search was called incorrectly. Conditional query tags do not work before the query is run”
I traced the problem back to your plugin (the notice disappears when I disable it). While it’s just a notice and it works fine in non debug mode, you may want to correct it in a future version
]]>As I activate Widgets Control the sidebar on my shop page disappears. what can I do?
This is happening only with the sidebar of the shop page.
There are occasions, when users want to hide the widget temporarily. Would be nice to have an additonal checkbox, “Hide widget temporarily” ( like this plugin does)
]]>Dear Team,
We have installed this plug in my website for hiding user role page hide widgets
we Show on all except these pages and condition put [role:customer] after we login customer role not hiding this widget, we given condition login is correct or wrong?
Advance Thanks
]]>I want to show a widget on 2 pages only. Their ids are 51 and 52. How do I write this in the Conditions field? I can just write “51” which shows only in 51, but for multiple pages I’ve tried:
51 52
51,52
51&52
51-52
51|52
51:52
51+52
[51][52]
[page:51 52]
[page:51&52]
[page:51+52]
[page:51][page:52]
none of that works. The documentation doesn’t tell you anything about multiple pages. What is the correct syntax to use?
]]>In the documentation I only see references to pages. What about posts? Is it possible to restrict widgets based on individual posts? If so, how to do it? thanks
]]>I don’t understand how to to use the category one.
I am trying to NOT show something on a specific category.
I’ve tried where author-blogger-2016 is the slug for category?-
category:author-blogger-2016
[category:author-blogger-2016]
Neither seems to be working though?
]]>Hi
Does this plugin have any limitations when working with Woocommerce?
I’m trying to use it with Woocommerce and Yith Ajax Product Filter widgets x 2 to output specific filters depending on the category. I’m using a list of [has_term:XXX:product_cat] to identify the categories.
One filter widget is for Brands, the other filter widget is for Styles
So…
If the category is a brand page, then only show the styles filter (37 categories)
If the category is a style page, then only show the brand filter (46 cats)
I have managed to get this work, but once the number of [has_term:XXX:product_cat] goes above 11 or 12, then it stops working and both filters appear on all category pages.
Thanks
]]>Hi,
your plugin works on all widgets except the BuddyPress “Recently Active members”-widget. I try the “Show on all except these pages” setting but it just slips back to the “Show on all pages” setting. It works on all other BuddyPress widgets.
Hi,
I am interested in using your Widgets Control plugin in my WooCommerce store.
Is it possible to limit a widget to only show on products in a specific product category?
If so how?
Many thanks.
