I currently use this plugin on over 100 sites. I have been using Widget Wrangler since 2014 and have found it invaluable. I use it to display specific widgets in a custom order in the sidebar, footer area, and custom featured content areas. WW allows me to customize widgets on a per page basis and create a default list of widgets to display when creating a new post/page. It has tremendously reduced the amount of time it takes to change / edit widgets on a page without touching code. It’s an awesome plugin!

It’s the only plugin to take on the issue of different pages with different sidebars, and it does a good job. I’m using it on WP 4.8.1 now. However, with virtually no documentation, you’ll never figure out how to master it. You’ll end up using only half the functionality.

You regret not using this plugin sooner, you just don’t know it yet.

This has totally transformed WordPress into the most flexible package available for me now, bravo. All I need now is a dashboard widget for custom widgets and I’m golden! 11/10 must have extension.

Works out of the box. And I really like all the in-line instructions making the setup process more efficient. Thank you for the work.

I have come from an ExpressionEngine background and I am used to how customisable EE is and how flexible it can be, something I love as do my clients.
I was always a little frustrated with WordPress not being as flexible, but this plugin gives you almost unlimited flexibility when it comes to building and displaying widgets on specific pages of your site.
Very, very good plugin and will be in my list of essential plugins to use on any future WordPress install.
Hats off to the developer.

I was quite disappointed by how WordPress handles widgets and the possibilities to positioned it in the theme.
Yes you can create sidebars and put widgets on it, but as I was used to Drupal’s regions/blocs system, it’s definitively not the same.
Then I discovered this plugin, and it’s ‘simply’ a perfect portage of the regions/blocs of Drupal to WordPress! Fantastic!
It’s working without any problem and allows you to manage how and where to display the widgets on you site.
Just that was missing to WordPress.

If you are looking for a plugin that allows you to show specific widgets per page, look no further. This widget works great, easy to set up and configure, and Jonathan provides amazing assistance should you need it.

Just started using this and found the video tutorials quite helpful.
I would recommend this anyone wanting to customize their widget areas by page or post.
Seems to be working just fine with 3.5.1 but I’m excited for an updated version of this great plug-in!!!
