I use this plugin alot, unfortunately it is not currently working in WordPress 4.6
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Widget_Output_Filters::get_settings() in /home/#####/public_html/wp-content/plugins/widget-classes/widget-classes.php on line 64
]]>This plugin breaks the Appearance/Widget editing screen in 3.0.1. The problem has been reported before but nothing seems to have been done.
]]>After installing your widget, the attribute boxes and screen options fail to open.
]]>Nothing to add really – the plugin just doesn’t seem to add the classes to the widgets in WP 3.2.1
]]>I love the idea of this plugin – very simple idea and would give me a unique class so I could style different widgets differently. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. I originally thought it was a compatibility issue with Widget Logic – which it kinda is – but after deactivating WL it still comes back with the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method stray_widgets::get_settings() in /home/daretoth/public_html/clients/firecheckltd/site/wp-content/plugins/widget-classes/widget-classes.php on line 64
If I attempt to activate both Widget Logic and Widget Classes then I receive the following error:
Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The second argument should be either an array or an object in /home/mysite/public_html/mysite/site/wp-content/plugins/widget-logic/widget_logic.php on line 56
Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/mysite/public_html/clients/mysite/site/wp-content/plugins/widget-logic/widget_logic.php on line 57
]]>I love this plugin, but under WP 3.0.3 and 3.0.4, the widget pane doesn’t load properly when this plugin is installed. Are there any plans to update this plugin for 3.0.4 compatibility? This is one of the most useful WP plugins available, IMO, and I’d hate to stop using it!
]]>Thanks so much. Makes life less complicated!
]]>With this plugin installed, I constantly get the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method widget_context::get_option() in /Users/dsburdette/Sites/thinkgiftworks/wp-content/plugins/widget-classes/widget-classes.php on line 64
Line 64 looks like this in the widget-classes.php file:
$instance = $widget[‘callback’][0]->get_settings();
It seems that get_settings() is deprecated and get_option() should be used instead but if I switch that out, no luck either. I’m not a coder so I’m sure it’s not as simple as that but I tried nonetheless.
]]>When using Widget Classes and Smart YouTube, There is a problem with the widget page loading the widget containers and there seems to be a JavaScript conflict disabling the page’s JS functionality (expanding widgets, drag/drop, wordpress menu, etc.) I don’t know what the issue is but I plan to investigate further this afternoon…
]]>Hi, I’m using “Widget Classes” Plugin, works perfect for me even switching various Themes, unfortunately I’ve seen some comments saying this is broken. So has anyone had trouble with this plugin? please comment so we could all have some better idea and try to fix the posible issue.
Thanks to the plugin creator this is just the feature that’s missing in WP.
Regards!
