Managing so many client sites it’s tough to determine who is logged in and who isn’t. I thought this plugin would solve many problems. Here are a couple of additions that would be massively helpful with multiple users.
Real Time User Status – Green dot for Active, Yellow dot for idle, and Red dot for Inactive or logged out.
Login Time – Time stamp when last logged in.
User Location – Provide a live onsite location ie, what part of the site are they editing – page, post, menu, widget, theme, so there is never overlap.
Admin Reports – End of day admin reports on who edited what page and when.
This would be my MVP. Let me know if you want to collaborate. I’ve got a couple of other plugin ideas.
]]>Hi
I recently installed the ‘Who’s Logged In’ plugin but I get the following message displayed on the top of the screen.
“Warning: Illegal string offset ‘wli_auto_kick_inactive_users’ in …../New_WordPress/wp-content/plugins/whos-logged-in/whos-logged-in.php on line 202
I’ve disabled the plugin until a solution is found.
The system information is as follows:-
WP Version: 5.4.2
WP Memory Limit: 256 MB
WP Debug Mode: No
WP Cron: Yes
Language: en_GB
PHP Version: 7.3.20
MySQL Version: 5.7.28
Plugin Version: 1.3
How do I solve this problem?
Many thanks
Doug
]]>Hello Everyone!
Please use this support thread as a hub for telling me all about any ideas, suggestions, or feature requests that you want to share regarding the Who’s Logged In WordPress plugin.
If someone already posted about what you wanted, please don’t just assume it’s going to make the cut for a future plugin update. Basically the more people that voice their support for something, the more motivated I’ll be to make it a reality! ??
If you want to share with me privately please send an email to ~ bhartlenn at g mail dot com ~.
I hope everyone is staying safe during these troubled times, and I look forward to hearing your feedback!
]]>That new feature is rather annoying I must say. I’ve been kicked out several times during development. How can I disable it? Thanks.
]]>Thanks for providing such a useful plugin! Is it possible to display this info in the admin bar so that it’s visible on every admin page?
]]>Is it possible to allow other roles to see who’s logged in, i.e. Shop Managers and Editors?
Is there some custom snippet code that I can add?
]]>The same issue as 1 year ago, if users don’t log out, then they are still kept on the list!
Same issue as him I believe!
“Hi,
It appears that if a user doesn’t ‘sign out’ of WordPress the Dashboard list doesn’t remove them. Is this true?
If it is true is there a way to flush the list”
