I have post created on https://vinayadesai.org and post are in language Marathi, and so all the Permalink.
for eg one of the post has permalink as
https://vinayadesai.org/?????????/
where last word is in Marathi language, but when I share it on whats app using whats app share button by jetpack plugin it gets shared something like this,
Where it encodes the last word.
Can you please assist me to get it correct as original one and not encoded one while sharing.

Jst integrated this plugin on my website. When i m sharing the post using facebook I am able to share the featured image along with it. Bt when i try to share it using whatsapp only the link and the title of the post is shared.
Can anything be done to share the featured image as well on whatsapp?

Hi, I’ve made my own .mo file for spanish translation as usually and upload it to the languajes plugin, but it keeps displaying english version although the rest of the admin area is in spanish.

It says:

]]>On louisvillederbyhomerental.com, the portfolio pages (for example, this one) loaded properly on both my iPhone and iPad when the devices are either in landscape or portrait. When I rotated the devices, however, the photos became elongated. While refreshing the browsers fixed that problem, I’d prefer the photos not to appear elongated at all.
To troubleshoot that issue, I deactivated all of my plugins. The problem stopped. I then reactivated them one by one. The aforementioned problem didn’t reoccur until I reactivated WhatsApp Sharing Button. When I deactivated that plugin again, the problem stopped again. So it appears the plugin was causing my photos not to load properly (my website use’s WooThemes’ Canvas template.)

I recently downloaded and used this plugin on my website and it’s working fine but a little problem persists; when I click on the share button, it only takes the link for the media file and pastes in Whats App. I want it to show the content that I may send, instead of the link. Is there any solution for this?

First of all, great idea and very nice implementation, thanks! It’s very good to see such a good plugin made by a compatriot!
Second, my blog (www.jlcarneiro.com) is localized to Brazilian Portuguese (pt_BR), and the plugin looks localized (its description in the plugins list shows the word “doar” instead of “donate”). But when I click on the button using my Android phone, the message created reads “Look this:” before the title and URL of the post.
Can you help me?
EDIT: I think the cause is function guess_locale_from_lang() in the file class.whatsapp-source.php. It always returns “en” if my locale is not “ja” nor “zh”…
Rare letters in the URL. Example:

]]>Hi there, thank you for this plugin. It seems lots of people are using it without issues. But i have installed it on two sites now and the behaviour is the same on both sites. From my sharing page, i have dragged the Whatsapp service to the enabled services but it doesnt show up on PC and on mobile.
This is an example of a post where it is supposed to show up. I see the signs that it should be there, but the actual button does not show up.

I am pretty impressed in this whatsapp plugin and it is working great as expected. My only problem is that, I enabled these to display in front (index) page. But when I am checking in my mobile, it is displaying only in first post. The rest of posts, it is not displaying whatsapp icon. Thanks for this awsome plugin. It works on android, but it doesn’t work on Windows Phone 8.1. If I go to my website I can see the WhatsApp button and it does redirect me to WhatsApp, but I can’t share the link in WhatsApp.

because of the wp_is_mobile() check, it is not compatible with page cache: the icon appears depending on the first request of the page. If it is from mobile, it appears everywhere (also on desktop version), otherwise neither on the mobile version.
