Hi,
I’ve just installed and enabled your plugin but in admin area there are two PHP warning:
Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in …/wp-content/plugins/webspellchecker/includes/class-wsc-settings.php on line 180
Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type null in …/wp-content/plugins/webspellchecker/includes/class-wsc-settings.php on line 180
]]>Team,
‘
I have actiavted this on my multisite, but I started using it on one of the sites before changing the language to British English.
I have changed the setting but the spell checks are still running using american english. Interestingly this is not the case on the other sites where I changed the language bfore using the spell checker for the first time
Is there an easy fix. Note I am a developer so if you can pnt me in the bvest direction to troubleshoot this that is also possible.
Pete
]]>Hello
Just trying this plugin.
Any way to integrate it into Elementor?
Regards
M
This installs a settings panel, but no spell check tool shows up. It wasn’t clear how to run a spell check on the site. I looked through the documentation which covered architecture, hardware requirements, configuration, and other confusing and seemingly irrelevant topics. In short, I was unable to use this plugin to perform a spell check on my site.
]]>Dear Support – This looks like a wonderful plugin. We are planning to use your paid cloud based plugin but wanted to check on two things:
1. If WordPress Custom Post Types are supported by this plugin or not. We use several Custom Post Types where significant amount of writing work is done.
2. We offer our community to write using our website front end. I believe it would require some development work but wanted to confirm that it would be a) possible b) permitted under your terms of use.
Kindly let me know.
Regards

Desinstalado.
After avtivating this plugin, I tried it out on some new posts I was writing and it was all going well until I started creating tables. If I created a 2 column table, as I started typing it would turn into 3 columns and glitching all over the place! This would happen in several posts and blocks.
I did a few tests to make sure it was this plugin that was the problem by deactivating and reactivating various plugins and Im afraid this was the one…
Perhaps I’ve missed a setting? Does this sound familiar to anyone?
]]>I replaced the fontawesom icons with fontello through my theme. So I load just 10% of what was loaded before. Unfortunately your plugin is using the default theme fonmtawesome icons, so they are broken now.
I can add the icons you are using one by one… but then they are also loaded in the frontend where they are not needed.
Can you please include the fontawesome icons in your plugin in that way that they are loading from your directory in the plugin directory of wordpress? Goal should be that they are only loaded in the backend.
]]>Hello, I was using v2.5 on my blog, so far there was no issue but after upgrade new version, I’m having issue with editor apperance toggling. It’s not possible to switch visual to text editor on Classic Editor.
Thank you in advance.
]]>Suddenly I lost the ability to choose to open links in new tabs on both posts and pages.
All previous page links still worked OK but could not be edited to open differently either. Strangely everything still worked in Event Calendar.
I finally discovered that disabling WProofreader returned functionality but now I have no proof reading! I only added this plugin because some sort of conflict meant that neither Grammarly nor Firefox spell checking would work on the site since 5.0.
I still haven’t tracked down what conflict is causing that because others on here don’t have the same problem.
Any suggestions?
]]>Is it possible to use the free version of WProofreader in two languages on the same WordPress website? I see there is only a setting for ‘default language’, and not a second language. Our website is in English and German, and we would like proofreading in both languages. We are using Polylang.
]]>Hi, just installed this plugin. I’ve looked over the plugin notes and want to check this plugin doesnt install banner ads as per the 1 star review?
Can anyone else confirm it doesnt do this?
Thank you.
]]>Hello, thanks for this great plugin.
I have successfully enabled the proofreader on my custom post types (ACF WYSIWYG fields) with the use of the new filter (wproofreader_add_cpt
), but I also have some custom fields on user profiles that I’d like to enable the proofreader for – is this possible?
Specifically, I’m looking to enable it on ACF WYSIWYG fields in the Edit user screen.
Thanks,
Katrina
Hello.
I use Wproofreader on my blog, thanks for it!
I am blogging on two languages: English and Russian. And when I writing a post in Russian, which is unsupported, I have to manually switch off the plugin on each paragraph. That’s two clicks every minute. Or I can disable the plugin and then remember to enable it again when I’m writing post in English.
Is there a way to switch the plugin off for a whole post?
P.S. I am using Polylang plugin. And I manually choose language in document settings on post creation.
]]>You say the free version of your plugin supports Spanish. But when I installed it, it doesn’t have Spanish as a pick. Why is this?
]]>You’ll notice this article has a bunch of typos. Including “Belguim” “remeber” and “resposible”.
All of those were fixed and corrected using WProofReader, and then the post was saved. When it was published, those typos had not actually saved. That stays true if I proof those words and then update the post.
