Dear all,
I’m trying to embed individually published stories to be displayed between the paragraphs of regular posts. However, when a story link is embedded, the featured image is displayed and for the story to be displayed you need to click on the image. How is it possible to make the stories embedded in posts to be displayed directly between the paragraphs? It is worth remembering that I use the classic editor in my installation. I look forward to your support.

HTTP ERROR 500
The editor works, but nothing else. You cannot preview, copy-paste the link, or click the link from a post or menu. Everything goes to a 500 error.
I have tried disabling plugins one at a time, until everything was disabled.
Changed to the 2024 Theme. Tried incognito mode. A different browser.
In the editor, the console shows 1 error – failed to load resource. The server responded with a status of 500 (). /web-stories/2024-atlantic-hurricane-season-forecast/

Hey Team,
I’m getting a “Image size smaller than recommended size” on that Web Story URL: https://www.nourishmovelove.com/web-stories/dumbbell-arm-workout-for-women/.
See image: https://ibb.co/sR5JLNV and https://ibb.co/RpY83bK.
Yet other web stories like: https://www.nourishmovelove.com/web-stories/standing-core-exercises-for-strong-abs/ don’t have this.
See image: https://ibb.co/sR0RNWS
However, I’m having difficulty figuring out why https://www.nourishmovelove.com/web-stories/dumbbell-arm-workout-for-women/. The Poster image in Google’s Rich Result testing tool shows the correct size 640px width by 853px height –
…which is what the offical documentation indicates it should be. And is what the other web stories have.
Is there maybe a setting in the plugin or on the web stories page that I need to look at? The checklist doesn’t indicate an issue and the caches have been cleared multiple times to no avail.
see: https://ibb.co/St3vknv
Any help would be appreciated!
The site is running WP Core 6.6.1 and web stories plugin v1.37.0 using a custom theme.

Homepage of my website is showing as Default Archive page in Settings which I have disabled for now. Why it’s not showing like https://mywebsite.com/web-stories/ inside settings?
I am using AMP for WP plugin as well. Is it because of this? Please help me identify this issue.
]]>Hi there,
I’m experiencing an issue with the Stories feature where videos open in mute mode by default. When the user enables audio and swipes to the next story, the audio is muted again, requiring them to manually unmute it for each story.
Could you please advise on this issue and suggest a fix to ensure the audio state remains consistent as users swipe through the stories?
I tried using JS but the stories are rendered inside iFrame and uses AMP so I think that’s not feasible solution either. I also saw the recent plugin release has Unmute Stickers but I am wondering if there exists any better solution to retain the audio state?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Faisal
]]>Hi Google Web Stories Plugin Team,
I’m experiencing an issue where, after setting and publishing a poster image for a story, sometimes the poster image doesn’t appear on the /web-stories archive page, even though it’s set correctly in the Web Stories editor.
I’ve noticed that I have to re-upload the poster image to get it to display on the archive page. This issue doesn’t happen consistently, but when it does, it requires that extra step of re-uploading the image

]]>Hi,
We are using both the Yoast Premium plugin and the Web Stories plugin on our WordPress site. In the Web Stories builder, when selecting the custom metabox option, the Yoast SEO metabox no longer appears for certain users.
Previously, the Yoast metabox was visible to all users, but now some users are unable to see it. We have already checked user roles and permissions, and everything seems to be configured correctly.
The only solution we’ve found to restore the Yoast metabox for affected users is to create an entirely new user account.
We have already reached out to Yoast support, and they have advised us to contact Web Stories support for further assistance.

]]>Hi.
I like your plugin. It does work well, but recently I’ve faced issues with Content Security Policy (CSP) implementation with your plugin.
The best practices are not use ‘unsafe-inline’ and ‘unsafe-eval’ for scripts.
To make a long story short, I coded the functionality of dynamic CSP (it calculates hashes or adds a nonce for inline and external scripts). Details are not so important, but I use standard WP functions and filters for scripts: wp_add_inline_script(), wp_print_inline_script_tag(), wp_localize_script(), etc. It allows me to add the SCP nonce to them or calculate hashes for them. Everything works well, but…
Your plugin outputs scripts in a not appropriate way without using any WP functions or filters (‘wp_script_attributes’, ‘wp_inline_script_attributes’). At least in the fix_malformed_script_link_tags(). It makes it impossible to implement CSP for your scripts and forces me to do dirty tricks to fix it. It’s really sad.
I urge you to support CSP and output JS scripts with WP functions/filters only (and don’t use inline handlers like onclick, etc.).
Thanks.
